Hi Janis, your Spring tour was quite a lovely treat! I love the yo-yo tablerunner. I have some of my Mother’s that she made as a young girl out of feed sacks. I’ll have to see if I have enough to sew them together. The fairies sitting in the teacups were so sweet. Your expertise in arranging all your treasures is what makes everything so pretty. Thanks for the tour.
Hi Connie, How special it is that you have your mother’s hand-sewn yo-yos! Yes, I would say you could easily put them together for something… even make a circle, like doilies for under a vase, if you didn’t have many yo-yos? I always love your comments. Thank you so much for your sweet words!♥️

Wuth my resect I want to make a suggestion, the various wall art tgat you have over the sewing machine it will look perfect over the sofa And the beautiful.mirror in the floor it will be great in the wall by the mannequin

Thank you so much! Thank you for your suggestions The mirror on the floor has been in various places. But, normally it’s by the French doors and wood stove. You are right about putting it on that wall, it would balance everything. 🤔 Would need a molly bolt or stud. (I rearrange everything quite often, but that mirror is SO heavy) 😂 I have also had the floral prints over the sofa, with other vintage prints, but that is a good suggestion for when I want a change. I decided, this time to “go simple” over the sofa with the one piece. I like the idea of adding more of just floral prints. (more is more😂) as we say around here! Take care! 💗

I had a very lonely Easter holiday ..no remaining family members return my txts or let alone return myphone calls & cards..or even call me every now again ..ive sent lovely thoughtful gifts periodically .. just bc i want to do it . something i know theyll love too..!!😞to no avail
Karen, my heart goes out to you. That is hard and I have sadness for you. The bright side of this is that you have shown unconditional love for your family members. Whether they ever respond or not, it will never take away the goodness and love in your heart! It is their great loss, though. I hope you have a non-family community. I know it's not quite the same but does help in some ways. I am glad you commented and are always a part of this community. Take care. ❤
