You are still the best ever demo/instructor/teacher/. Thanks for this video. It has re-inspired me after changing course in another craft direction, which I can keep, and still follow you into the magical world you create. Stay safe. Love, Pamxxx

Nice to bring back an oldie-but-goodie technique. Works super well for 12x12 scrapbook paper too, and scrapbook page backgrounds when you love both sides of your paper and can't bear to cut into it.
Sounds like a plan! I must try that on my pages, too. :)
So delightful,! Thanks for all your great ideas!
Glad you like them!

Great tip with the twine!
I have made this type card before but have never tried it tearing horizontally. Love this idea and definitely going to try it this afternoon!
Thank you for this lovely video
You are so welcome!
AWESOME VIDEO, Jacque! LOVE all of the ideas n’ ASSEMBLY LINE creating! GREAT WAY to showcase DSP n’ know that it will co-ordinate so nicely! HOORAY! Like that you decorate the inside of your cards, too! So wonderful to use up some of those ribbon n’ embellishments as well. The designs fit LOTS OF SENTIMENTS, too, depending on the sentiment layer/shape! PERFECT for gifting ideas n’ to have in a card stash! TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! SMILES from Madison, WI, USA! :-)))
Thanks so much! What a great comment - you've made my day! xx
Love your cards!! What a clever idea for making a bunch of cards!!
Glad you like them!
Great cards! So happy I came across this video!
Awesome! Thank you!
I really enjoyed all of your tips, tricks and ideas. This is the first time I have found you. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing with us.
Welcome aboard! I look forward to sharing more ideas with you!
The twine tip is wonderful as I don't really like the twine or ribbon on the back of my card. I don't have much double-sided paper but using two coordinating papers will work well. Lovely cards. I'm in the USA. I had the opportunity to visit NZ a few years ago and through a difficult illness with my husband, met and have a lifelong friend. Beautiful country!
Thanks Frances! It's far too bulky sometimes to have twine across the back! And make it go further anyway. :) Hope you can come back soon when things are more settled in the world xx
I love the ribbon pieces in the jar. Very neat and manageable
Yes! Thank you! :)
Brilliant stash buster idea, love the finished cards too.
Glad you enjoyed it! LIke that - stash buster. LOL

I'm so glad! :) Thanks for watching!
These cards are really beautiful! I like them a lot❤
Thank you so much! thanks for your kind comment. xx
Really, really cool designs! I LOVE RIPPED PAPER~~:-)). It always gives such a neat texture to the card! Using up DSPs that have a nice co-ordinating “side” is PERFECT to ensure WE USE OUR STASH SUPPLIES! LOVE Assembly Line projects n’ having card bases, layers n’ envelopes at the ready is SO HELPFUL! GREAT idea to have your extra ribbons, twines, n’ threads in a jar is helpful, too! TOTALLY AWESOME examples so TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! Have a BEAUTIFUL day! :-)
You are so welcome! xxx
Wow! Love the twin tip 😁👏👏👍👍💕💕. Thank’s 👍👍👍

Very cute card.
Thank you!
I like the way you put your twine on the card. Very clever!
Thank you! 😊
Hi I’m sorry I unable to read the USA measurements.
Beautiful cards. Ty
Thanks so much!
Love your twine hack
Thanks, Cindy! :)
This is a great way to use DSP! Thanks
Glad you like it!
Really like using both sides of paper. I got best results when I used small rectangle of side 2 and tear on side one only. I glued small piece to card front then placed torn piece on top.. Tear seems more visible and I dont need longer piece.
Sounds like that works, too! :) Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting!
Very nice card love it thanks
Thanks so much!
Glad I found your site
Me, too, Kathryn! xx
Great thanks
You are welcome
Great way to use up paper. Thanks
You are so welcome!
Oh I love this. And great tip on the twine. I have a tip...the mat paper, punch out your sentiment backing so you aren't wasting the sheet that's going to be covered up. Hope that makes sense.
it sure does! Thanks for watching! :) :)
I am a beginner. I was gifted some DSP and card bases. So now I know what to do!!
I'm so glad! It's great to showcase both sides. xx
I liked the circle for the message portion.
Thank you! :)
Lovely cards! Would make a great gift set with different saying

What a clever way to save on the twine!

I like the white sequins.
