I got one about 1.5 years ago (different brand). It’s amazing. I do like that yours have the slot for the remote and yours have the metal rods on the sides. My mattress slides to the right when I get out of bed. Mine only have the metal rod at the foot of the bed.
I admit having an adjustable base is the best, I got one recently, and it's amazing.
Can you just use pillows? It seems the only advantage is sitting up but you can just use pillows. Just wondering if it's worth getting.

Won’t this ruin the mattress? All that folding and unfolding?
As I ocserve from the hi-end expensive bed store. This kind of base uausally pair with no or very less spring mattress. However, it is expected to change the mattress more often.
