This was the best thing I’ve ever seen on CZcams and in retirement I watch a lot of channels. Amazing! Four true friends having a great time. Better then sliced bread! Keep this tide rolling! God Bless you all!
Great show with lots of great info and stories! Scott's story about KVD on St. Clair was really cool to hear! KVD is the GOAT of bass fishing for sure, crazy the amount of confidence he has on the water at all times! Keep up the good shows guys!
Great name for the Podcast!!! I lived in Southwest Michigan for 12 years and would get to talk to KVD on occasion and always a gentleman. I watched all his vhs tapes and he basically taught me how to fill the livewell with just a spinnerbait. Congrats KVD on such a great career and best of luck in the next chapter.
All you guys go out there and do what you do glad to see you all keeping the fire a live miss those mornings when me and my brother woke up before the sun and made memories best of luck to you all
Great podcast fellas. Had a smile on my face the entire time. You guys are awesome. Loved seeing John Cox on the podcast as well. Keep it up fellas and God Bless.
The stuff taku is using is called nories amino bite powder 😅. Its a amino powder that gives off a trail of scent that mimics the same amino acids forage fish release.
This was cool. Anytime you can get a good group of fishermen together and just tell some stories. Ahh man it's good stuff. About your boats, mishaps... family.. other Pro's.. history.. this guys was great. One I am old enough to have grown up watching your Dad.. and KVD... and all off it. I had a 12 ft jonboat and sculling paddle... Keep em coming it is what keeps fishing going. Btw... a good bloopers video would be great.
FINALLY, THANK YOU MAN! IT'S MISS IS QUOI. HAHA. Love to have you guys up here enjoying the lake DING DING on the alewife growing um that extra ½ to ¾ pounds on the smallies
Plenty of people catch good largemouth in St. Clair and connecting water. 4lb plus lgm. I used to fish it a lot. My biggest bass there was a 6.5lb lgm from a spot in the Detroit River. Plenty of good canal lgm there, too.
Id love to see the Elites fish the Warrior river in Alabama, i know theres nowhere to really have a weigh in or launch but Ask Canterbury, its such an amazing fishery with the most diversity of anywhere you guys would ever fish. Its got some GIANTS in it also. Plus its old school too, no graph watching needed or really necessary
WOW. John Cox, g-pal lol , he is a breath of fresh Air for sure. Him losing his wallet not knowing until he's there, I would still be freaking out. He should be with the three omegos all the time, this podcast is tops injoy all the topics you go through. Thnxs. BTW, my grandparents were only called Grandpa White or Grandpa White my dad's mother was Grandma Micky. His dad was Grandpa McGuire. Lya guys
So I would like to hear all the pro’s opinions on forward facing sonar. I’m not a pro, I don’t even own a boat I fish off my paddle board, but I’m 38 years old and have bass fished my entire life. I love bass fishing. I grew up fishing. From trout fishing to striped bass fishing on the California Delta. I fell in love with bass fishing when I caught my very first bass. After that there was nothing else I could think of. My opinion is that it’s a positive technology advancement. Then I go and see a CZcams video from Randy Blaukat comparing it to shining your brights on a deer at night poaching. To me it’s an advantage or an edge. Anything to help catch more bass. But these old guys hate it. So I’m just wondering about everyone else’s opinions. Especially you Pro’s.
Hey Scott I met KVD at the Lake Charles civic center @ the boat and RV show when I was 14 years and shook his hand and got a fishing pole from him he fished with in the bass tank
This is a hilarious episode. 😂 I called my mom’s mom, Lau Lau, dad’s mom Nai Nai, and dad’s dad Yeh Yeh…. Mandarin Chinese has maternal and paternal differences for grandparents lol. John Cox doesn’t look a day over 40 lol. How is he a grandpa? No wonder why he fishes 3 trails 😂 I have Taku’s scent formula… not hard to find !
Great Pod Cast. Just wondering when you showed the video of you jumping in the water to get your phone why didn't your life jacket activate. Good luck to all of you and have great tournament.
My grands all had normal Grand names (Granddaddy, Grand Mommy, etc.) but one of my great grandfathers had a great name, Poppa Cut. He was named by my father & his twin brother, who were the first grandchildren. I never heard him called anything but Mr. Honeycutt, Dad or Poppa Cut. He lived in a very small town in Arkansas and as child if I told someone in that area I was going to see Poppa Cut, they knew who I was talking about. My daughters have decided that will be my grand name.
Love these Podcast.
Telling the old stories keeps the Legacy alive.
Keep it up!
This was the best thing I’ve ever seen on CZcams and in retirement I watch a lot of channels. Amazing! Four true friends having a great time. Better then sliced bread! Keep this tide rolling! God Bless you all!

My grands all had normal Grand names (Granddaddy, Grand Mommy, etc.) but one of my great grandfathers had a great name, Poppa Cut. Grandma was known as Baugaw when I was a kid
If I would have ever called any of my grandparents by their first names I would have died
I didn't even KNOW their first names until I was old enough to vote!
I was thinking 20-25 yrs ago how to take a regular transducer and shoot it out and get it to work. Needless to say I never got it to work!
Gotta put Clunn in their with kvd, Roland, Houston and Dance.
Mine were just ... Mom and Pop
@9:26 It Might be the funniest story I ever heard.
