What do think, can water be classified as food or not?
Looking forward for your replies.
I think water cannot be considered as food as it is not giving any nutrients/energy. water is the medium for most chemical reactions in the body, especially those metabolic reactions involved in energy production.
@@sanalvj6944 absolutely right ... Food must be source of energy. The body generates energy through carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Water on the other hand may be critical for survival, but doesn't give energy.

Food is any thing edible or drinkable to continue the life. Because, I this contest water is food.
Scientifically food must result into energy generation in the body. Water doesn’t do that.
Although water is essential for life … more so than food. But still will not be classified as food.

Hi ... you can download for free the Dubai Municipality Food Code and ADFCA Food Regulations. These are a very good resource.
Food is eat able and drinkable but water ia dietary fiber. It cleans the digestive system and also purify the body parts such as kidneys, blood etc.
