My personal two favorites from this year would be the Ricoh KR-5 Super II and number one the Konica Auto S2. Should be fun to see what the New Year brings. I've had a Canon A1 since I was 16; its an amazing camera... it will get shutter squeak at somepoint and it will need servicing I did this once... it 31 years of owning it
