This scene is this whole show in a nutshell. The chemistry between characters is amazing, the acting is amazing, it's all fun to watch... and it makes no sense whatsoever.

Meh, it's surprisingly common. Especially for coworkers that are as close and tight-knit as them.

Not just movies; Typically if you all have been working together for so long ; 10 plus years ; it’s more than just camaraderie esp if it’s A great work environment. You invite each other to Dinner parties, cocktails, baby showers & excetera. Sometimes work colleagues can practically be like family but all that depends on the general work environment. One of my best friends for 14 years ; we got to know each other from working on the same unit @ the Hospital for 8 plus years .
I mean they worked together for years and they aren't just any colleges - they run the firm together, plus i guess they're actually friends. So that seems pretty natural
