Wow I remember these commercials when I was in elementary/ junior highschool. I also still own a good handful of those vehicles and figures which I used my summer job money on. The USS Flag I regret selling it in 2008 when my son was born. Sold it on eBay for $475 back then to get his crib/ combination toddler bed.

@@zuludawn9932 Agreed. The USS Flag achieved one final mission to insure the needs of a newly born American citizen. The USS Flag in the GI-JOE universe fights for America's people so the toy version of it sacrificed itself to aid one of America's newest citizens.

When Sgt. Slaughter joined G.I. Joe, it was like going to heaven! I used to cheer for Sgt. Slaughter when he wrestled. I would especially cheer for him, when he wrestled against Nikolai Volkoff.
You know I still can't get over how the Cobra Raven strangely looks just like the SR-71 Blackbird of the U.S. Air Force minus that little jet on the planes back.
Cobra had crazy resources, they even had a health spa and insurance for their troops. 🤣

I saw someone doing some restoration work on the carrier. I couldn't believe much the US flag carrier was a beast. when I mean beast. I mean, it was a massive toy. I was like, how in the hell did that thing manage to be sold?

The hall of fame dolls were back on their roots as it seems since G.I.joes were 1/6 back in the old war days! 😉 I remember my self in 12 be in the market with my grandmother for shopping,and we saw this doll like joe knock off with different clothes to change him etc,and because my parent saw me look at is she asked me if i wanted to get it.I refused because i didn't wanted someone on the neighborhood to tell me that i was playing with dolls! 😆

The U.S.S. FLAGG mint condition factory sealed in box can fetch up to ten Gs at auction. When they were new they cost about 100.00 How do I know? i remember seeing it for sale at Toys r Us. Makes me sick to think about it!

He didn't feature ALL the commercials by choice, this was just a small showcase of the history of these commercials.
