A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This CZcams channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

@@paulhansberry8168 Yes, in fact their guitarist Herman Lee does Twitch streams a few nights per week when they're not on tour, and you can watch him do this kind of stuff live. He's a funny guy, too, so even the chat portions are pretty entertaining.
Each one of their songs sounds like it should be on the closing credits of an epic fantasy adventure movie.

I was there when iamchrisforlife hit the 100% FC. I thought I was decent at the game for beating this song on Expert, that guy was next level at the time.

Guitar hero influenced my taste in music quite a bit, through the fire and flames and monsters were definitely the most memorable
now to check out the album version, which is 7 and a half minutes long which they cut like 2 minutes off for the radio/video version
yes, this song is available on guitar hero. it is considered the most difficult song in the entire series of guitar hero and all related DLC. There are maybe 4 people in the world that can play this on guitar hero with a perfect score. Most people that think they can play guitar hero hardcore, can only get 30-40 seconds in before failing out.
Glad you finally found this song. One of the greatest shred guitar performances ever.
You should check out Unleash the Archers. They would equally blow you away with the added bonus that the lead singer has an insanely great voice.

Aquiles Priester's drum cover of this and any song he uploads are hypnotizing, his speed, accuracy and power is a privilege to watch and you can really appreciate the outstanding intricacy of the drum tracks. Aquiles was the drummer for DragonForce during their last tour.

Herman Li and Sam Totman is killing it. That song is the boss level on guitar hero
The crazy thing is that the official video version cuts out an entire section from the song. The album version has a huge chanting part in the track that imo is critical to the way the solo's come in.
Yeah, the long version has outro dueling solos that just MAKE the song for me.
On Heroes of our time, both guitarists are playing the same bit at the same time. Any tiny differences would be much easier to pick up on. I never noticed a note out of place. Just incredible!
This song is absolutely amazing. Herman Li is insane. This group is fairly new but they bring me back to my younger years with the big hair bands of the 80s.
This was indeed on Guitar Hero. It's know for being one of the most difficult songs on the game if not the most difficult.
Anyone who's in awe of herman li on this song, check out the livestream of him with tim Henson and TOSIN ABASI playing this song. Took tosin a second, but he gets it down (& makes it look easy, just like with everything he plays) on his 8-string. Even plays left hand upside-down.

I accidentally beat this on GH3 at a buddy's house, and people were just staring at me lol. No where near perfect, just enough to not fail, but after you get past the intro it's not that bad.

I had Guitar Hero 1 and 2 when they came out and emailed the creators a whole letter basically saying "Yall gotta put Dragonforce in the next game" and they did!
And it was so hard it wasn't even on the final page of story mode (or whatever it was called). It was part of the credits and you couldn't fail it, you just played through it so you could see what it was all about and play through it in song select mode.
There is only ever one thing wrong with this that they had to cut about 2 minutes out for the video also the emense pain of this on guitar hero still haunts me what epicness looks like also hair of the gods

Listen to this song off the album. For some reason, its longer and has a longer solo than whats in the music video. And if you feel they speed it up, watch some live versions. These guys go hard.

This song was DLC for Guitar Hero back in the day. My brother had it. There are videos on CZcams of kids playing this on the game.
Playing guitar this fast is easy. Playing guitar this fast correctly is amazing. Playing guitar this fast, correctly and then playing in unison or harmonizing with another person who is also playing this fast and correctly is another fucking level. Look at Iron Maiden. To be fair, they don't play at these tempos, but they play 3 part guitar harmonies (pretty damn fast) for 3 hours straight.....perfectly.
Now search for Junna Through the Fire and Flames. Once you've seen the original, you have to watch Junna. You'll want to video the reaction, for sure.

Guitar Hero 3 was the start of my music career lol. Every song was a banger, even the bonuses in the store Like FCPREMIX by the Fall of Troy. That was the first song I learned to play and sing on my own and made me never put the guitar down.

I first saw Guitar Hero on a demo in Best Buy and I was obsessed ever since. I've got all the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. I've attempted drums and guitar on this song many times. I've gotten pretty decent at medium level but the guitar solos just kill me. You've got to have very good dexterity and muscle memory. Thanks for the video and the reminder that I've got a closet full of plastic guitars. I'm going to give the game another go and see if I still have any skill.

I remember trying to get through the full 7+ minute version of this song on Guitar Hero back in the day. Could never do it higher than medium difficulty. Their most recent album 'Extreme Power Metal' is a banger as well. It includes a cover of Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On that is somehow both epic and good for a laugh at the same time!
