In my teen years, I loved this show…but 20 years down the line..and after 20 times more maturity…i find it absolutely disgusting and idiotic serial…there are so many things wrong with it and nobody sees it..first of all, it brainwashes the young minds watching it putting thoughts like true love and a happyily ever after which in so many cases is just not real, it Creats unnecessary expectations among the youth..and second is everyone blind or m I. Only able to see how toxic Arnav is, he is a rich spoiled brat with so much arrogance and ego filled in him, how can a innocent sweet girl like khushi fall for him?? He abuses her both physically and verbally and still both of them end of together??? This can happen only in Indian soap operas, not real life…

True. Star plus ke sare shows ne hamesha modern, educated, confident ladkiyo ko mostly villains dikhaya hain. Aur sare ajeeb, gawar, no self respect, no confidence wali characters ko main lead. Even aj tak bhi aise shows banate ja rahe hain. I was really good to see ke Lavanya breakup ke baad villain nahi ban ke khushi aur arnav ko alag karne nahi ayi aur nahi usey blame kiya.

One of the only hindi shows that was my fav....hsr episode 10baar dekha hai..jitna bhi English shows dekh lu ipkknd,barun sanaya ka magic will is evergreen...I was in school that time only wanted arnav khushi to be together....now I think lavanya ke saath kitna bura hua....if lavanya was his gf im sure he was sleeping with her also...on top of that the way he treated her was not right n he dint even apologize properly in the end...basically he wanted to have a no strings attached relationship but then he shudnt have got her in the house.
No. He never slept with her. That's why to prevent them living in one room, Shayam advised everyone to let Lavanya stay in Shanthiwan so that they can monitor arnav and lavanya's moves. It never looked like he ever get into sleep with her. It's evident in the way he gets uncomfortable when lavanya tries to touch him or lean against him even from the beginning when Kushi wasn't there. He clearly refused to touch lavanya when she secretly comes in to his room at night. He said I didn't touch you. And the way he tries to detach himself from her clearly shows that they haven't yet got into that phase of the relationship. That's why lavanya is so desperate to experience it. If they were having a physical relationship as you indicated arnav would have behaved differently. We see how uncomfortable he's around lavanya. It's clear he asked her to be his girlfriend only because she agrees with him all the time without arguments and it's convenient for him. He said that to his sister clearly and she told him in such a relationship he has to use his heart too. He refused but later realised how true that is because he can't even think of touching lavanya. He brought her home to give a chance to their relationship but it fails. Lavanya never blamed him because he has no control over his feelings for kushi. Lavanya was smart enough to understand it. She knew he didn’t do it purposely.
