My family are average and they are nice, which I adapted to this lifestyle. I also found Changsheng again! Seems like she reborn too…I then sighed as I signed the contract again. Changsheng looking at me quite saddened but smiled as I assured her that it’s my will to sign this contract happily. Good thing, my parents let me adopt her so Dw! ----------- One day later, my parents were in a rush and had to get something in the car. I then went out the apartment going to follow them but then saw a man with a knife…about to stab the woman! I then alert changsheng to bite the man! Luckily changsheng is quick and is able to but the man before he stabbed the woman. Which caused him to fall and drop the knife, luckily my parents came back worried about me and called the police from the moment they saw the scene and then went to me worriedly…. I look at the mother who is hugging both of her kids which seems to be twins, they were crying. I’m glad I saved a family’s doom… ------ Seems like she is my neighbor, so I pretty much bond with her kids overtime. We’re pretty much childhood friends, seems like aqua is wary of changsheng but Ruby absolutely adores her. It’s hard playing with Ruby, aqua is okay since it’s not running. But Ruby is really energetic, I honestly don’t mind though. *coughs* it’s just health problems, I didn’t want anyone to pity me or feel bad. So I didn’t tel anyone about it ----------- But uhm seems like their mom noticed me coughing, I tried to assure her that it’s okay and it’s normal. I told her to not tell them After all I don’t want them to be burdened by my disability… ----- Present (16 yrs old) : I coughed as Changsheng look at me worriedly…I assured her as I smile warmly as usual…I’ll try my best to save both of us til my time ends..just like last time. Baizhu claims that it is simply a chill, but he knows that he has a weak constitution, and all of his internal organs are diseased. Though his life is not in imminent danger, nine out of ten doctors would be dumbstruck, only able to gape in wonder at the nature of this rare and incurable disease. Therefore, whenever his symptoms flare up, all Herbalist Gui and Qiqi can do is bring him hot water, cloth towels, and plates of fruit to show their concern. Baizhu does not wish others to worry on his behalf, and insists on being alone in his room with only Changsheng for company. With the curtains pulled over the tightly closed windows, the room was dark and gloomy. Baizhu lay down, tormented by the chills and following hot flashes, occasional breathing problems, and intermittent yet intense full-body pains that often came whenever his symptoms flared up. After a bout of agony, he joked to Changsheng, "If I don't make it one of these days, it'll be a giant hassle, won't it?" Changsheng slithered up the head of the bed and looked down at Baizhu's sweat-soaked visage with human-like pupils. "Oh you, oh you, you may lie, but you may not die. Who is it that wishes to live forever? You are not yet old, and haven't yet experienced a full life."

This is literally the perfect idea to make a heartbreaking story or a wholesome one. The story can develop into two directions: -angst with bad ending/bittersweet ending (Baizu still ended up dying at a very young age, and Aqua unfortunately realized his feelings a bit to late as he finally found out about Baizu health that is deteriorating faster and faster) -wholesome (With modern technology and medical treatment that were much more advanced plus with Aqua help as a former doctor, Baizu survive. But maybe with side effects, as the contract after all is more of a supernatural phenomenon) Someone do pls make a fanfic about this TT. If i have a talent in writing, then i will gladly do so myself...
