Kitzsteinhorn offers a new challenge for skiers: "Black Mamba", a groomed slope up to 63% steep! The black piste 14 is 1000 metres long, covers 290 metres in altitude and is venomous like a mamba -- perfect for all experts who love it steep! The run starts at the valley station of Kristallbahn at 2,265 metres and ends at Langwiedboden. - Sport
It's not that hard when snow is actually there, but when I was there in december it looked more like icering.
99% ice and like 1% snow
Skied this piste yesterday, I expected it to be much harder, even though the snow was pretty bad.

@@anonym4405 - 290 Hm auf 1000m = 29% = 13 Grad. Kurz mal 63% sind auch nur 28 Grad. Entweder stimmt hier etwas nicht oder das Marketing von Kaprun macht sich gerade lächerlich... 🤔

@@lucid1873 - In der Welt in der 100% = 45 Grad sind und Dreisätze gelten 😉

Skied this very early January 2015. It's a great run and felt this was another achievement to be proud of alongside Nassfeld's Carnia 7.6km NON-STOP! Piste looks excellently groomed, better than what I had experienced early afternoon (ice, moguls and cutup). Nevertheless I still really enjoyed this and would love another crack at it as would Carnia run with my good friend Katze.

63% max. is 28 degrees. This is just nothing to write home about. Sorry...

i skiied this a few years ago and was 14 at the time it was icy and honestly it wasnt hard the resort i normally ski in has reds that are steeper still a good run just not hard really

Bin ich vor 3 Jahren gefahren, sehe da keine Herausforderung , ist halt relativ eng .
Interessant wird die Abfahrt am Nachmittag, wenn 5000 Personen hinunter gefahren sind. So ist sie Kinderkram.

Its false advertising......the off piste terrain surrounding it is up to 63° pitch. The average black diamond pitch is about a 29° pitch.

In dem Zustand gut zu fahren. Wenn die übermütigen Anfänger erstmal wieder überall Haufen zusammen geschoben haben, wirds lustig...
vor allem am Ende des Tages, wo es noch vereist wird, dann ist es richtig lustig ))
Noch schlimmer sind übermütige Snowboard Anfänger, die mit ihrem rumgehocke nicht nur die Piste blockieren, sondern auch mit ihren brettern den Schnee zu bergen auftürmen.

Čierna Mamba,je to super zjazdovka, ale popoludní poriadne rozbitá, ráno je to niečo úplne iné...
