I know you are interested in floral arranging. A pro tip I share with beginners is to remove the "guard petals" of roses. These are the outer petals of the rose (they are often discolored and stiffer than the rest, hence the "guarding" quality.) Once removed, they transform the look of the rose into a more delicate bloom. The rose will open beautifully. Another pro tip I share is when you buy any form of a carnation, if you pluck out the center of the carnation variety it will give the flower a looser, whimsy look - more antique. It almost gives it a rose-type of look. I should start a channel! I'm too busy as a teacher and mom! =)
Yes from another pro, people donât realize that we leave the bruised petals on to protect the healthy petals. So when you arrange the flowers, you just need to pluck off the bad petals. Also, trim off the ends of the stems before placing the stems in fresh waters. The stem close up quickly. Make sure you store your cut flowers in cool areas in the home. Heat will make the wilt really fast.
Lauren, I see all these comments about âwhy havenât you been posting?!?â & while I am an OG fan & always happy to see a video, I understand that it is a job n top of your job and most importantly your family & all that comes with it. Sometimes LIFE happens. Never feel bad when you have to take time away from social media (entertainment). đ
Yes, life does happen Guess it depends on how successful Lauren wants her channel to be. She has great content. If she just wants to post a couple of times a month people get it, she is busy. I think people ask bcuz they initially subscribed to a channel with regular content. However, the reality is that the most successful channels have regular uploads once a week or more. Unfortunately, people tend to lose interest in a channel with irregular posting and will often move to a channel with more regular content since there are tons of channels with similar content.
Lauren, I have missed you for so many days without any notifications đ so I was so happy to see this video! This video was so fun because I also love to cook, also having four son's is a ton of cooking! And I love đ cooking for my husband, his Mom was never into cooking so I like to spoil him!
Lauren, I also LOVE grocery shopping, then getting home and restocking everything. When I see everything full it makes me feel a deep sense of gratitude, abundance and peace because I am now able to feed my family †I loved how you finished the video doing that beautiful vase of roses! đčđ I love your organizing too!
Trader Joeâs really does have the best florals! I think I spent around $75 for my friendâs baby shower last August and we made sooooo many arrangements! The flowers lasted for about 2-3 weeks after the shower!
Good to see you, I needed my Lauren Nicholson fix!đ Your TJ Haul included many of my favorites and a few I'm looking forward to trying! Thanks for the tip on the cookbook. I didn't realize they had one, but I remember when they used to make things in the store and give you samples and recipes, I wish they still did that!
Those fig & olive crackers are the best! One of my absolute favorites. I wish I had a Trader Joe's close to where I live, I have to travel some distance for that, but totally worth it.
Hi Lauren, Loving this video shopping, organizing and restocking the pantry. These video r always sooo satisfying to me,there is something calming and soothing about being organized since our lives r soo crazy. Keep them coming. đđ the nails so pretty against ur skin color.
Wow, sweetheart Lauren, what a beautiful haul, thanks for sharing. I enjoy shopping at Trader Joeâs too. Have a nice Spring. đđâ€ïžđâïžđ·đđđșâïžđ„°
Hello Lauren. What a haul. Thanks for sharing. Everything looks absolutely delicious. I do believe my favorite is all that salami and fresh cheese - and of course those baby tomatoes and that minced garlic. Thanks so much for your recommendations as to how to restock the pantry. đđ
Hey Mrs. LaurenâŠ..always look forward to your videos. Iâm going to go to Traderâs Joe this weekend here in Central Florida. đ„°â€ïž Blessings to you & your family & Enzo â€
Gosh I wish we had Trader Joeâs in Australia! đŠđș This all looks so cool and different to anything we can get here. Love your videos Lauren đ
There you are little mama I was looking all over CZcams for you I guess you needed a break and that's what everybody needs thanks for sharing your haul video good seeing you again
Love Trader Joeâs,so many goodies.. so true about removing those leaves from floral arrangement. Watched a video recently where a few copper pennies and a shot of vodka added to the water makes the florals in your arrangement last longer.. I havenât tried it yet, have you ever heard? Thanks for sharing your haul⊠â€
Good to see you Lauren been missing you..I wish we had a trader Joe's here in maine nesr me..I miss that store..I shopped there all the time every Fridays ehen i lived in NC..
I have to agree with the others where have you been? I seen something on Instagram about a live and waited here for the live. Sorry but I am one of your more mature followers i.e ancient lol, and don't understand all those app thingymajigs :) - Welcome back and loved the content (as always)
đźđźđźđźâ€â€â€â€ yummy. Love me some Trader Joe's items. I saw that cookbook couple years ago I was following her on IG and then I stopped following her for a while. OMG loving the shredded cheese blend I've never tried it I've got to buy for a quesadilla... đđźthe Italian mix too.. OMG yessssss
Only having enough miles of in which I traveled in my time there is one food place of that which I have had visited and I might ad it is not here in the states. It is in Harrods food court in great bittian. And it is very much to my likings ang I receive cart Blanc that is due to my position in life but then again I am very satisfied and more than content with Joe's here in states and to I now reside from time to time in the USA .,.......

I expect nothing, but sometimes it's good to be missed and know that people value your content. Simples.
I only buy flowers from Trader Joeâs. They do have beautiful and exotic flowers đplus amazing prices
Put some lemon juice into your flowers and I had them for 20 days every 4 days cut the ends off and put them in clean water with fresh lemons juice.
Agreed on their florals! Fave place to grab a pretty plant for visiting friends, and for holidays.
The spinach artichoke dip is sooo good as a pasta sauce, prepared in the same way as the viral feta tomato bake!
I love Trader Joes, you can find so many good foods, etc. And flowers. Enjoyed shopping with you. Have a blessed weekend.
