As beautiful Slovakia can be, many people don't know about the country. Of course you can have ugly places in there ( like anywhere) but it surely does have some beautiful nature! Aspecially the views of mountains.
Yes, like you every country has ugly places. But Slovakia has some absolutely stunning places!
I'm not sure Slovakia has to much of dump places it's full of trees and mountains that some you can't find anywhere else
Nice video :-). I am czech, but having slovak wife. I love Slovakia - nature is wonderful there. And still not so touched in many places like in Alpes etc. (except Tatras), but there are many lower mountain ranges , which are also wonderful for hiking. Slovakia is a hidden gem :-) (not for us from former Czechoslovakia of course).

Haha they were just so cheap though! We did try Margot, it was interesting, tasted like alcohol to me kind of. We tried some local beer too, was tasty!

Ahh I would also love to go there. I am going to Poland in August. Starting my journey in Krakow and then heading to Warsaw and Gdansk. Unfortunately I already booked my hostels and a hotel in Warsaw which I cannot cancel. Just after I booked this I detected how beautiful the mountains in Slovakia were and I really would love to go hiking there but as I said I already booked my hotel in Warsaw which i cannot cancel. But I hope to go to Slovakia or even the mountains in Poland some other day.

Yeah Hungary and Slovakia are both part of the Schengen zone, so no border controls anymore. Those must be the old border control posts....Man, that's crazy you saw a bear! Quite the spontaneous adventure there. Gorgeous mountain views.
Oh right, true, that makes sense now. Yeah, super crazy with the bear. I actually remembered from one of your videos in the U.S. when you were walking up the trail and shouting "hey bear" "heeeeey bear" to scare the bears away. So I used the same technique, so cheers! And yeah these mountains are stunners!
Ha ha, that's great, glad it came in useful. Yeah strange loud noises should usually scare them off, though you never know with those guys, unpredictable creatures. That must be pretty rare to see in Europe, so you're pretty lucky.
Yeah, very lucky, I had no idea there were bears in this part of Europe until this trip...

I liked the style of this one! It's always good to mix it up a little... how long did it take you to edit in comparison to your others? Killed it on this trip - so much exercise! That hike looked incredible! I'm actually going to Slovakia in a few weeks - flying to Vienna and then popping across to Bratislava for a couple of nights too. We bunch of Taiwanese people visited Kosice, Slovakia couple months ago.

That is so cool! Half Slovak, half Egyptian, great combination! :) I choose places that are fairly cheap to visit and travel and more importantly, places that are very interesting to me also, it's not very technical though actually, I just look at a world map and choose a country, that's all there is to it really. It's in Tatra Lominca and when you get there just ask where the Green Lake is. Its about a 6 hour hike return.

I've been in Tatry mountains two weeks ago in Poland (Zakopane) and it looks very similar. Gorgeus mountains, maybe someday i'll go to the Slovakian part!

Yep, there are many bears in Slovakian forests. It’s recommended to be careful in the nature because of that.
