I was there! Was a long day. Coach got stuck in traffic for an hour heading into Liverpool and leaving it. May have witnessed a thrashing, but that Sainz goal is the thing to take away from it all. What a goal!
Nice to watch this with Chris Goreham's Norwich-focused commentary attached rather than the 'Klopp this, Klopp that, Klopp the other' nonsense we inevitably got on ITV1 at the weekend.

We lost to the best team in England. No shame there at all. And we put 2 past them , the 2nd being quite superb. We can walk away with heads held high.
Any number of Norwich faults could be picked out in this, whether one of many times we needlessly gave possession away or failed to mark or challenge, but one that baffled me at the time and that sticks out like a sore thumb every time I see it is McClean's sudden surge out of covering centre back position @ 2:39 thus creating the hole that they immediately successfully exploit for their second.
To all the liverpool fans reading this, PLEASE ignore the comments that say Norwich were cheated because we were not. It was a fair game. These bots are trying to make alt accs to spread that we get cheated every game so everyone would think we’re a bad fanbase, we are 100% not like this. Once again, please do not listen to the comments that say we were cheated.

Think confidence (and lack-of-it) is SO IMPORTANT in life as well as sport!
Confidence surely has to be based on something?
Hence why the Liverpool team is clearly more confident than the Norwich one!
For us all, real self-confidence is a fragile vulnerable thing indeed an ‘alive’ thing. I am an artist -or musician and also actor, and I'm talking from real experience here. But we all know about confidence and how difficult it is from our own lives!
For me, it is like a project to grow or to help grow and protect.
When one is in a sport and is in competition with a known superstar, a lack of real confidence just makes one feel automatically under-confident and play (much) worse than they would do normally; it is a human factor we see in ourselves and others.
But the whole point of real confidence is that it does not affect one whoever one is playing! It is independent of that.
Norwich have a huge problem here - that was that under Farke too - for in the premiership we just played so below par with most opposition; where is the other clubs that went up seemed to find that confidence and do pretty well.
for example the mistakes against Liverpool did not really happen against Leeds (apart from maybe, for the goal they scored)
they always happen against big size until Norwich have a decent manager who can see in address this, we will not stay in the premiership if we ever get there again!
