  • When purchasing any large home appliance, we mostly just think of the present. Maybe you’re a young couple looking for a small washing machine that’s just the right size, or maybe you’re not looking to spend a lot, so a small machine is the way to go.
What we don’t think of however is what’s going to happen when we outgrow these smaller machines. A 5kg machine maybe great for a couple, but how will it stack against 2 or 3 growing kids? And yes, smaller machines may cost a little less, but when it’s time to buy a larger one because the smaller one just doesn’t cut it any more, how much extra are we actually paying?
When you buy an Asko 8 or 10kg washing machine you really are buying for the future, with the added benefit of still being able to cater for the present.
Asko’s larger washing machines not only let you wash larger loads more efficiently, but thanks to the larger interior drum there is always plenty of empty space leftover to ensure a thorough clean.
Besides from the obvious features, Asko’s larger washing machines also feature more wash cycles compared to the smaller machines. And thanks to the larger openings the constant game of tug of war with flat sheets and doonas can finally come to an end.
Another great feature is Asko’s quarto system, which features 2 steel drums that are independent from the rest of the machine, ensuring less external vibrations and greater durability.
Asko’s exclusive SteelSeal is more hygienic and more durable than rubber seals that can be found on other front-load washing machines. No rubber means, no mould, no cleaning, and longer lasting!
Asko’s XL 10kg machines feature a 20L deeper drum than the 7-8kg range, providing you more room per load and allowing you to wash larger items such as king size doona’s or down coats, meaning less trips to the dry cleaners or Laundromats.
Looking at this large front loader, we see a reliable washing machine that’ll fit large loads meaning less time in the laundry room! But what our kids may see is a rocketship or time machine that’s ready to take them to another dimension where adults no longer rule. Fear not, if you have a child with a crazy imagination who gets into every nook and cranny imaginable, you can tick accidently shutting themselves inside the washing machine off your worry list. Asko’s XL 10kg machines feature a door that can be pushed open from the inside if your little one decides to crawl in.
And if your decision to buy a larger machine is based on energy and water consumption, then you’ll be pleased, and possibly surprised to know that Asko’s large washing machines offer 4.5 to 5 star energy and water ratings. So whether you’re washing a small load or large load, you’ll still be able to keep energy consumption down.
If you want to buy for the future, while ensuring you purchase a reliable, and durable machine that’s still practical for the present, then make sure you take a look at Asko’s large 8 and 10kg washing machines today.

why doesn't asko have current vidoes? That would most likely (to me) indicate they are no good for the high dollar

Because they don't need to continually bring out things to keep up with the joneses, or as things die a year or two out of warranty, so you buy again.
      ASKOs just last.
