Heavy Metal lost his Maestro. Pianist, orchestra maeatro, lyric singer, spoke 5 language. The guy was a genius. Created Viper at 14 and at 16 was already well known in the metal scene, left to finish his music studies, then co-created Angra and the band represents a generation in Brazil. Thought it wasnt enough and left the band to create another huge band: Shaman. Shaman's Ritual was one of the best album in Power Metal history. Everything the guy touched was a sucess.
this singer is Edu Faslaschi one of the ex Angra vocalist, he's good, but Carry On is better in the voice of André Matos, ex former singer of Angra, he died a few months ago, please react to Angra - Carry On with André Matos or Shaman - Fairy Tale
And this was from their first album back at 1993, entitled Angels Cry. They have lots of prog/power metal songs, some mixed with regional influences. Their former guitarrist Kiko Loureiro is considered by many the best metal guitarrist alive, and now plays in Megadeth. I recommend the following Angra songs:
Great reaction guys! Love you Nightwish ones and now together with Sepultura, Angra is one of our best heavy metal bands. Unfortunately the vocalista that founded the band passed away this year. I myself had never heard the version of this music with that singer that is great too. And yes, all of them are very skilled musicians. The guitarist from the left (Kiko Loureiro) is now in Megadeth!!!
Edu Falaschi was a monster. The fact that he is a baritone singing this song makes him even greater. But Carry On is only CARRY ON when André Mattos is singing.
