- There is a new student at Xavier's, a girl named Jean Grey. But her formative training is interrupted when an old friend of Xaviers attacks the military base Cape Citadel. Calling himself "Magneto." The teens now must learn to use their "gifts" in a new way as they become the "X-Men."

I'm not sure why it took me so long to begin listening to this audio drama, but I'm glad I finally have! It is nice to have such visual/graphic stories translated to full scale audio productions.
Know these comic books off by heart...this is a treat to listen to. Breathes new life into them. Kudos

I've been a fan of The X-Men for a long time, this story is from the very beginning, when it all started, in 1963.
I'm surprised this is not widespread already. Its really good.
This is great for someone like me, who can read about comics, but can't see, so, audio dramas of comics are the next best thing. You've all put a lot of hard work into it.
I’m the same because comic book store out there they’re not in braille because I’m from Ireland and I have autism Asperger’s syndrome and I have had a beetle syndrome and a side-effect from the bad Aveda syndrome is that enough for feet and I’m bitterly impaired and for me to actually sit down and read a comic book it’s not reality because it’s all visual but with this I can sit down on CZcams with my iPhone and I can listen to this like a movie and I understand what’s going on and it’s perfect for me to and I like to get to know you if that’s okay
I gave you an extra subscriber because even though you’re not uploading content I still like to support you I like to support everybody especially a lot of people in the Blind community so hope to get to know you and the time being and I’m also a huge fan of X-Men
I have visual impairments but I'm not blind, and I have a lot of trouble following comic books for more than a few pannels at a time.
I also recommend the star wars radio drama which is honestly better than the movies.

Your work is impressive. It's clear that you and many others put a lot of time, energy and effort into what you do. That's the most interesting and unique take on the 90's X-men theme I've ever heard. I've already listened to the Power Rangers series up to the most recent episode, and now I'm curious to know how this one will be. The nice thing about stuff like this is that I don't need to guess or try to get visual assistance. I've been blind since birth, so sometimes TV shows can be a bit tricky, but still doable though. With an audio series, everyone's in the same boat as me. lol

This is good man I've watched the animated series growing up. I can definitely tell they tried to be faithful the comics. I love these go to sleep to them sometimes.
Really good one point of order. The x men are always in their suits on. They have a little button they press which changes them from their everyday clothes to their superhero suits.
Charles is right. Whether you want to or not, everyone everyone should learn how to defend themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Awesome! A fan made radio drama, and an X-men one no less! This is great, clearly a lot of work went into this and the voice acting is surprisingly good and professional sounding. Obviously you guys have a plan as to where this is all going but the only thing I'm really hoping for is Gambit (my favorite X-man) which would be pretty easy if you ever decide to do Mr. Sinister or Apocalypse, otherwise really looking forward to this continuing and seeing where it all goes, also I gotta say I love how you hint at the Phoenix with Charles mentioning locking some of Jeans power away, I just hope you handle it a lot better than X-men 3 did lol.

My Review on this episode: The voice acting is stellar though I could not hear Iceman in some bits. This seems to be a modernized take on the X-Men’s first battle against Magneto. My favorite so far has to be Beast.

How accurate will this series be to the canon story, is it made up or a retelling of certain comic books? I'd like to get into the story, but haven't read a single comic book yet and don't know where to start lol.
They are retelling of older stories from each era (60s, 70s, and now 80s). They are pretty accurate regard to history and events that had happened in canon lore with some changes and liberties( juggernaut and absence of non mutant characters in the marvel universe til miss marvel).
That's kind of tough to say since x-men is the big example of comics being too convoluted. It better to just go in to a 1st vol of a trade with a general idea of the xmen. Personally I recommend the 80s stuff under Chris Claremont. Those are the reason the x-men brand is popular to this day.
