There are some spelling/translation issues in this build of the game (English isn't the dev's first language), but it's one hell of a game. It's from Mojiken Studio (creators of A Space For The Unbound) and has some very creative puzzle design. They're the sort of code-cracking puzzles that require a notebook and pen to solve, but I've added extra text to the video to make it easier to follow. :)
Also, with regards to the hidden code in the D3 document. It just says "Clock". The read-out on the clock in the lobby can give you a hint for the final test (B=11, C=12), but it's not necessary if you already figure out that that Work = 32 24 27 20.
Just played it last night. Couldn't figure out the password on my own. I never woulda thought that it'd get featured here, Thanks man
My pleasure! Yeah there are some tricky puzzles! Had a lot of fun figuring this one out! :)
How does the decoding even work?
2:34 "Inappropriate advances towards the elevator is prohibited by company policy. Please resort to the employee workplace ethical standards for further reference." 16:15 "Quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog", is a sentence that uses all letters of the alphabet. Also mentioned several times in Fallout New Vegas.
1:27 dude is pretty chill about his apartment door opening and transitioning into a running train
This URL in game is real and this is both cool and bad. Lets imagine in 10 years someone trying to play this game to find this old site is long gone.
This game reminds me of Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, stuck in a time loop as well. And it also seems to give a message about routine and repeating the same terrible work as a slave over and over again. Even when it seems like you "save" the character, that's not true at all, his life is still a time loop, as he says himself at the end... THEY WILL LITERALLY WORK FOREVER.
The phone charged at 1% was so relatable.
1:08 imagine waking up and finding that while you were asleep your apartment has been tossed like a salad in the search for money. They even moved you from the bed to the floor.
If I knew I would even help them look!
Haha, they could at least of left him some coffee! :)
Now that would be barbaric! Leaving someone cold coffee is like banned by 7 geneva conventions and one McDonald's franchise running employee torture manual.
I hope theres an alternate ending, and if not... maybe the dev can add a way to escape in some form of dlc or patch with more secrets c;
Poor guy literally got fired. That boss is an A-hole!
This was awesome
There is no way I would’ve figured out those puzzles lol
Thanks for actualy showing the process on how to get the information and not just bluntly showing the answer
The graphics are absolutely jaw-dropping, amazing work!
Work=life
The best phrase in part of our existence
Some live to work, others - work to live
really intriguing game! I like how the only thing that really gets "sent back" between cycles is information.
All I could think about was....BITES ZA DUSTO
Puella Magi Madoka Magica too.
So... if the leading motif of the game is life and cycle (of life), can we assume that the imagery of an oblong loading bar repeatedly pushing into a tube, then of pink elevator doors opening up before you, and finally the board room looking completely like a uterus, is symbolic of life and the cycle of life?
In the third file, there was a glitch that you did not see
What was the secret code in the D3 report?
Hi! It just says "Clock". The read-out on the clock in the lobby can give you a hint for the final test (B=11), but it's not necessary if you already guess that Work = 32 24 27 20.
@@AlphaBetaGamer I saw it more as it keeps on counting, but starting with 0, so to get the actual letters, you need to subtract all the digits before it. No wonder that it didn't make sense. I subtracted 10, cuz 0 was also in there, but in the end I had to subtract 9 for it to make sense.
THANKS !
Ok, this sounds like some metagame with no 4th wall. Is Machine they talking about, which "repeats time: is actually user PC on which game is running?
Soul-crushing Cubicle Movies back in the game form
worse than war ptsd is obviously an office life ptsd...
but tell me boys and girls, tell me now:
WHAT FOES IT MEAAANNNN....
Now I cannot make fun of English spelling or grammar since shmengrish is also not my first language, and what I cannot obviously make fun is this game which has very interesting pixel art and the idea of the story is also very interesting, it makes you realise that this is an edge of tomorrow that you do not want to be at....
Also I cannot shake off the feeling that the protagonist is an android or a robot? Or Is the 0.8 system meant to be the test system?
this game remind me of my life. thank you.
He sounds like Shaq speaking gibberish 😂
Reminds me of the movie "Boss Level", but without the car-chases and explosions.
Too scary for office rooms and time loops
ok now a test test test project moon dl-
Oh wait that will never happen😔
Anyone who can upload the ost from this game, please do it, the music is so good omg
2:35 that elevator has high standards. But she secretly has depression (of button) and her moods drop. She seems to feel pretty low right now, so all you had to do was to lift her up. Maybe if you bought her flowers or took her out on a nice date first would she allow you to ride her?
21:39 What does the glitch on this final report say? You didn’t do the screen trick
Hi! It just says "Clock". It's a hint for the final cypher. The read-out on the clock in the lobby allows you to figure out that (B=11 and C=12), but it's not necessary if you already figure out that Work = 32 24 27 20.
how do you get to the shredder by 11:53am? the train ride is always 5 minutes and it's 11:55 when i arrive. every time
directly take the key and go out of the house. The game starts at 11:45 if you dont wait for your phone to charge up it should work!
dont answer the phone call, get key and leave straight away, you should get there at 11.51
16:18 Genuinely curious with what's the logic behind the code and how to solve for the computer password? What kind of code is it?
You have 3 phrases and under each phrase, a group of 2 characters is given, on the train you were informed about the combination (1c 1c f9 13 16 19 1 c1 ff 3 93 99).
Just look for these combinations and substitute instead the letters that are given, for example, in the first phrase of quick brown fox jumps - the letter 'q' is 13, the letter 'u' is 16, the letter 'i' is f9, etc. (spaces do not count).
And based on the reverse, 1c will be equal to 5 letter in the phrase 'over the lazy dog', i.e. the letter t.(password - triquetra59)
I'm not explaining it well, but I hope I helped someone
I see! Thank you for explaining! 🙏
23:31 what kind of cyphers ? ceaser ? and how you know the key of the cypher?
i really like this game but i hate the sound you get when interacting with items
Wonder what the glitch on the third report was
What was the secret at 21:32 with the brightness? The cypher for the final equation?
Hi! It just says "Clock". The clock in the lobby can give you a hint for the final test (B=11), but it's not necessary if you figure out that Work = 32 24 27 20.
@@AlphaBetaGamer Ah cool 🙂 thanks! Really cool little game 🙂
How the heck did you decipher it?
Does it follow that RETIREMENT = DEATH?
Haha! Yeah, I guess it does!
I don't how to decrypt things, so I had no idea of how to get the computer password
You skip glitch on D3 report )
Hi
Hello
"CABDFEGH is the reboot code" where he says that?
is ABDFEGHC btw
Anyone else seeing the Mandela Effect Eyes
good game and concept but imo you really shouldn’t need to exit the game to a browser just to advance, save websites for easter eggs
Buset
The thumbnail looked better than the walkthru
Wagie Cagie the game.
Corporate Slave
Need to go to a browser to play the game? Awful, just garbage.
Nah, you're just too lazy
