I'm a single Mom and going to attempt this repair bc I can't keep throwing money at this car. I have an 02 3.8L Impala and it stopped for awhile but just started idling high again today. I pray it fixes the problem. Thanks for video!💗🙏

I have a 2005 Chevy impala I bought the air idle control from AutoZone it doesn’t fit one side of the screw doesn’t go in seems like the idle control is sticking out and to big

Wouldn't you have to get it to RE-LEARN it's position/values? Either by driving it at varioys speeds OR ? I was told over time it LEARNS your habits & can idle low etc. Curious. Oh!! If it's filthy then cleaning the throttle body inside would help bit getting that part off looks to be a pain with the return spring linkage. Using ONLY throttle body cleaner. Have u folks cleaned the m.a.f. sensor with the CORRECT cleaner ? And don't ruin it by touching it inside either.

have you checked for vacuum leaks? what codes are you getting?
