  • My today's guest is Kashish who started his credit card journey while in college. He used his first card to earn Rs 250 extra every month by doing just 4 transactions of Rs 1000 each. Then he moved on to cards offering lounge access as he was in a travelling role.
    Today, he holds one of the most rewarding cards in India - Axis Bank Magnus for Burgundy and uses it to make luxury for himself and his family affordable.
    These are all the cards Kashish has and where he uses them:
    •. Axis Magnus Burgundy - All major spends (except fuel, jewellery or insurance) to ensure 1.5 lac+ spends per month as he get 17.5% returns on spends above 1.5 lac
    • HDFC Diners Black - Jewelery, Insurance
    • Indian Oil Axis - Fuel
    • HDFC Swiggy - Swiggy & Grocery
    • Tata Neu Infinity - UPI

    One suggestion- Whenever you invite any guest, pick up just one card which he uses the most & discuss the best ways to optimise its usage

      Exactly. Otherwise its no use just their passion or choice of owning multiple cards and showing off basically. Nothing much use for others. Amex plat travel is on the last list for him. Lol shows how much he knows about CC. As he said amex provided cards in college only. That's why no value or knowledge about amex. Just owning 20 cards doesn't mean someone is smart. He is just privileged.

      If you are eligible and purchase is significantly over 1.5 lakhs, Axis Magnus Burgundy
      Any of the Vistara cards would work too. You can cross several milestones based on the amount and card.
      If Amex is accepted, platinum travel is also a good option as you can cross 4 lakhs threshold

    If you are sending ₹3000 for 16% return on credit card then you are not saving 16% you are spending 84%.
    Use credit card for necessary use only.
    You are pretending as if credit card spends are a way of saving.

    • @tejasghongadi
      @tejasghongadi Před 18 dny

      Looks like you live your complete life for free with zero spends. Those Rs. 3000 spent can be necessary / essential spends too. Stop assuming things and understand the details on how it can be useful for you than trying to show off unnecessary attitude with such statements.

    Hi @creditcardshihai
    Plzz sugegst
    I’m getting HDFC Infinia or Axis Reserve for lifetime free due to certain reason.
    And my most of the expenses are in travel only- hotels , flights etc.
    So could you plzz suggest me which card is good to pursue.
    Or can u suggest any other card of Axis which is more better than Reserve.
    Plz suggest any card of hdfc or axis only.
    Thanks

    • @creditcardssahihai
      @creditcardssahihai  Před 21 dnem +1

      Can help better with some precise numbers as Reserve gets better if forex expenses are significant as it gives 6% return and charges only 1.5% fee on forex.
      Infinia is better for normal spends with 3.33% returns.
      I would suggest going for both if you have the option.

    • @luckytheindiangirl

      @@creditcardssahihai thanks for the response.
      It won’t be possible to get both. I have to choose either of them.
      Considering my expenses for forex, travel like hotels and flights, so I should go for Axis reserve. Right??

    • @tejasghongadi

      HDFC Infinia above Axis Reserve any day in its current form. Go for HDFC Infinia and activate Global Value program for Forex spends. Try utilizing Smartbuy for accelerated rewards. It will more than make up for the loss of rewards in Forex as compared to Axis Reserve
