Amo ver os gringos se doendo nos comentários porque Mariah não é a pessoa que tá no guiness book com a nota mais alta, e sim a Georgia, uma brasileira. Ambas são cantoras incríveis e Mariah sabe usar melhor as notas altas nas suas músicas, mas o record de nota mais alta é da Georgia. Sem choro.
Georgia's isn't even a note it's a frequency. And no one is hurt.

The difference between a note and a frequency is that the note is a musical representation of it, and vice-versa

She is definitely incredible. I always envied Maria's whistle register and started to sing up there but I was afraid of damaging my voice. I stopped around A6.

Through some comments I realized that there are many jealous people in this world. She is an extraordinary case, you who are envious and do not admit. Because of that criticize her, saying she is not a good singer. Envious.
But she's NOT a good singer. She has an impressive vocal range and can hit some crazy high notes, but that's about it. Without her whistle she'd have never gotten a record deal, and even though its what got her famous it still isnt controlled and melodic like Mariah Carey's, its just screechy and loud. She's a vocal rarity, but she's not a good singer.
K Lattanzio if you think these sounds are loud, you're wrong. They might sound annoying and piercing in the mic, but they would be very light and soft in person. High pitched, but not loud at all

She isn't contralto lol.
She is an agility soprano, its a very rare voice, sometimes can be confused with contralto voices but still a soprano voice.
Are more rare than contraltos.
Contralto voices are strong in the Chest Register . They have a weaker head voice .

Damn! I didn't know it was physically possible to sing that high! I can barley hit the high notes of Heart Attack and Sorry not Sorry by Demi Lovato! She has an extraordinary gift! I wish I could hit the Whistle Register but I'm just not able not .

B2 - F8 is 5.4 octaves, not 5.3 and 1 semitone. And Guinness claims her vocal range is G2 - G10 (8 octaves), which I don't believe it is possible. But, her range is amazing anyhow. I wish she could control it better, no shade.

Well, I agree, like when harmonized, it sounds cool, Mariah is very clever. She knows exactly what she must and must not do to a song. Mariah singing style is not about hitting notes, but SINGING them (uUnlike some oversingers out there). Haha

The most incredible part is that she is contralto, not soprano or mezzosoprano like Mariah, you guys have no idea how much difficult for a contralto girl singing too loud like someone how does it naturally. She controls all the situation in lower notes differently from what happens in higher notes. She can achieve, but not smoothly and soflty like amazing Mariah Carey. That brazilian girl rocks!!!

Lots of people actually think singing in a whistle register requires a lot of breath or a very wife open mouth but it really doesn't you are closing your larynx so tight you only allow a small amount of air to get through which makes your vocal chords vibrate is because even if you aren't producing a sound your pretty much where you need to be to hit the note

No you don't. Its the fastest way to tear up your voice. Mariahs voice is heavily damaged and if Ariana doesn't can it, she will have to start lipping all the time like Mariah.

2) its not like singing any other note.
3) it hurts the vocal folds and causes damage even if done properly.
4) belting doesn't cause nearly as much damage to the voice as the whistle register

Does anyone know if Georgia has had any classical voice training? Her support especially in her high notes and all the way to the lowest note of her range and being able to control and hold them notes the way she does and as long as she does, is simply fantastic! I'm gonna be taking opera in college soon. My whistle register is a little shaky after E7. I'm working on excersises on how to be able to connect it with the rest of my registers so, I can be able to be on pitch and hit the note while doing my 5 scale warm ups without staining. Instead of trying to reach it separately. Any info would be a great help since everything is closed down for the time being in my state. Thanks for any advice given. Plus, when I do my lip trill warm up, when I reach around a B5, it produces a polyphonic sound of B5 and another note between F7-G7 according to my instuner pitch app is showing. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong and I don't want to push it if it might cause issues down the road. Can Georgia give any tips? Lol she's a great performer nevertheless.👍

Agora me explica vc que manja de musica e faz whistle que eu sei, se eu gravasse cantando a partir da metade da 8a oitava pra frente se ficaria algo bonito? Desculpa gente mas vao estudar! Alias aqui todo mundo virou professor de canto graduado no CZcams. Ah e so pra lembrar aqueles que dizem que eu nao canto, pelo menos nao sou eu que dublo partes pre-gravadas ao vivo e muito menos depois de uma apresentaçao importante que vai pra DVD ou televisao, pelo menos eu NUNCA JAMAIS regravei voz em estudio, o chamado DUBBED, que desde os anos 90 os cantores ja faziam enquanto eu sonhava que essa gente era perfeita e tao foda pra hj quase 30 anos depois eu descobrir isso…. Como sou engenheira de audio eu nao entendia como podia um microfone dinamico em uma performance ao vivo parecer um condensado com tanta clareza…. Hj eu encontrei a explicaçao quando AS PERFEIçOES DA VOZ começaram a serem desmascaradas, devido ao vazamento das gravaçoes originais. PELO MENOS ESSA VERGONHA EU NAO PASSO, NUNCA PASSEI E NUNCA VOU PASSAR. E pra finalizar, nao esperem ouvir o tal G10, pq o ouvido de ninguem seria capaz de captar essa frequencia. Um dia terei paciencia e vou gravar um videozinho pra exclarecer algumas coisinhas! E antes de formar qualquer tipo de opiniao sobre ate onde vai a capacidade da voz de um cantor, pelo menos conheça a discografia dele. No meu caso posso garantir que ate hj nao mostrei nem a metade do que sou capaz de fazer cantando. Super concordo com o comentário do Andre Antunes, ela é sim uma mezzo-soprano com uma super-mega extensão vocal, muito alem da tessitura de um ser humano. As notas mais agudas soam como um apito e seus graves são bons pra uma soprano, mas ainda não está na tessitura de uma contralto mesmo. Adoro a região entre o C5 ao G6 dela, acho muito incrivel essa potencia toda em uma voz. Georgia Brown sou seu fã.

My lowest note is F#1 or lower and my highest note is Eb10 or higher but I'm not sure if I've got superhuman/ supernatural vocal range but this is also my hidden talent. Both Ms. Georgia Brown and Ms. Mariah Carey are my musical inspirations aside from multiple KPOP groups/ soloists! I hope can cover their songs ALMOST perfectly.
