no man. army has here mainly ceremonial fuction. for security of castle and president is responsible police. there are members of special police group URNA as real security. although in some cases soldiers can help them or so. but there should be enough people to protect president any time...
@@lop139 yes, guards are soldiers. it is quite complicated and i am not familiar with situation in all details. but i met guys who served here in police. so there is tradition that guards are soldiers. soldiers have some other duties and they have to definitely intervene if something unappropriate will happen ofc. but their number and possibilities are limited. they are just support. prague castle is very large complex (of tremendous historical value) and on the top of that residence of president so security should be taken very seriously. as for as this footage it is not clear. it looks like both are soldiers in this case but some police personnel may use such uniforms as well (and machine guns too). really it is hard to describe, security routine here should be quite complex and complicated and everything should click together and be on point...
