This is a review of The Flintstones (1994) which I personally think is one of the better live action films based on a cartoon and is another underrated gem.
I will admit the good qualities: I appreciate how it’s modeled after the cartoon, they THANKFULLY don’t utilize CGI for Dino (puppeteering and practical effects are the best methods for such character) and the casting choices are pretty good (with the exception of Rosie O’ Donnell as Betty Rubble). Barney and Fred also have decent chemistry as well.
I give it a 8/10. It is a good underrated 90s film, and I liked that they recreated everything from the cartoon. The special effects by Industrial Light & Magic and Jim Henson's Creature Shop were great, too.
