While I was learning Carnatic vocal at CAC Cochin, way back in 1977- '79, Rex master was the principal. He was a young man in his late twenties at that time. I used to listen to the ganamela rehearsals, which was done in the adjacent room of our class room, where I could find Rex teaching the subtle nuances of the song to the orchestra as well as the singers. Master is very articulate and has the capability to put across his ideas convincingly. Now Iam seeing after 45 years. Master's younger brother Illoy Isaacs was one year senior to me at St Albert's High School. Glad to know that you are an alumnus of St Albert's!!. More over I lived a stone's throw from your ancestral home at Pachalam.
