I had these growing up. They’re so sweet and Lovey Dovey. I used to ALWAYS hang out with them when I was home. They literally used to chew the sides of my notebook paper when I was doing homework. I thought I was funny and just left it if I noticed it. When my Teacher asked what happened??? ... I could honestly say ... “My Bird ate my homework.” 💜💜💜

@@leonardocucchiara4782 I have a single albino cocktail who is very friendly with me ,but still it is not possible for any human to give a lot of time to their pet,and exactly I can't also give much time to my albino cocktaiel ,but I know that she always want me to pet her bcuz when ever I go out from my room leaving her alone she keeps shouting and when I come back and pet here she becomes very happy, so I decided to get her a partner so that she would not feel lonely,but my mom does not allow me to get one more bird, pls reply to my comment expalaining how important it is to keep birds in pair ,so maybe seeing ur comment my mom would agree to get my albino cocktaiel a cute partner..
@@deadlyxdevil7478 your birds behaviour should be signage enough for your mom. She feels lonely. That why she screams when you leave and wants to be petted when you enter. Birds like that (birds in general) can get very sick and depressed when they live alone. Some birds start to hurt themselves or become aggressive against humans. Some birds just stop to eat or to clean themselves wich can lead to infections. It's completely unnatural for them and very cruel to keep them seperated. There is also a possibility that a bird who has been living alone for a long time won't tolerate other birds anymore.
Birds who are held alone tend to develop a close relationship to their keeper. But thats out of pure desperation because they need attention and social care. A human can never adequately replace the affection of a fellow bird.
Please get yourself a good book about Cockatiels and how to keep them adequately and read it together with your mom. Certainly you'll find the same informations in there

This cute bird is called but Budgerigar Bird it has put forward by palaeontologist, the budgerigar of today has prehistoric ansistors meaning it has evolved from some dinosaur like creature. The reason for their conclusion is; both scales on the reptilian type creatures and feathers on the birds are formed subconsciously (under the skin). Moreover when feathers and scales fully emerge from the skin they are there and cost to grow any further, both are held in follicles which lie beneath the skin .supposedly the common ansistor liking birds and reptiles in prehistoric creature that exist some 140 million years ago' called Archaeopteryx. That's a mouth full! it is the first Fossil growing down the side of its long tail and its front legs appeared to indicate eavly wing formation. Archaeopteryx could not fly

Yep Same here the bird ain't tamed cause IM NINE AND MY BROTHERS SEVEN AND NOBODY ELSE CARES but it can go on ur hand and shoulder i thought it but then to scritch it we WRAP IT IN A BLAKET AND CALL IT THE "birbrito" and it Bite Alot and then when we don't let it see our finger we scritch it sometimes it kinda likes i dont know and other times hates it i know its torture 😅🤫😵

I'm sorry to say this, but you need to remain calm and let your bird bite you. If you can take it and show it doesn't affect you, your bird will stop. I bonded with mine that way, and in no time at all he was cuddling with me and getting 5 star massages.
