It has been 10 years since more than 300 people were killed in a passenger ferry disaster off South Korea’s southern coast on April 16, 2014. The 6,825-tonne Sewol ferry had sailed from the western port of Incheon the previous evening before running into trouble some 20km (13 miles) off the island of Byungpoong. Of the 450 passengers on board the ferry bound for Jeju, 325 were secondary students from Ansan, a city south of the capital Seoul.

The mothers' way of coping and mourning the deaths of their children is so admirable yet heartbreaking. Its amazing how they stay strong for their kids and keep fighting on even a decade later instead of giving into the darkness of the space their kids left behind. May their kids rest in peace.

Titanic engineers and captain stay with the ship till it sank which helped save 700 people, you think after 100 years people would learn instead they fled and let the children drown in their room. Even the titanic band members is more brave than these people

If I must be correct, South Korean authorities having a shady track record of leaving and neglecting people to perish in crisis events, just like what happened last time in a crowd crush in Seoul.

Unfortunately you are right. There were US and Japanese vessels nearby who, upon hearing about the disaster, raced to the scene to offer aid. But not only did the local government refuse but told them to leave. Those kids would still be alive today if the Japanese and US ships were allowed to help.

Yeah. In exchange for such a rapid advancement, the country suffers from among the worst case of negligence, corruption, personal benefit and arrogance government and society to ever exist.
After all, it was that extremely cut-throat competition that made South Korea develop in the first place.

Yes Japan kindly offered…so many other empathetic countries also offered…and even then they still refused out of pride and for concealment. It’s impossible but I wish the ferry crew could come to the USA and see what prison life is like here. Here, when criminals who hurt children go to prison, they become targets for all other prisoners. This is especially true in female prisons where all the prisoners miss their own children back home. Pedophiles, child abusers, traffickers, etc. do not survive for long in American prisons. Even criminals have basic standards and morals. Hurting children puts you below the lowest.

Yamato or the legacy of Gaoli, all doesn't matter, they didn't even inherit the names, all but just a carcass of their former ancestors. But Yamato had fallen no higher, which makes them nothing but a living corpse, corrupted, degenerating, deforming, yet trying to reclaim its former glory painted with blood from its former master the Han, with the help from its new master the white, what a sight isn't it? Slaves belong to the path of slaves. After thousands of years of circles, it is time to change the circle, no?

what is wrong with you? this isn't a skill issue. 307+ people died, most of them being KIDS. people got injured, people killed themselves, parents experienced losing their child/children, and way more. if you experienced what the victims or families of the victims did, you wouldn't be saying that.
