I got the T-Tech 1 lot.
If it comes down, unfortunately it will never come down below 500/-, that is my thought. From 1300 to 500 is a long distance. I would like to accumulate more at every fall. The other IPO examples you gave are not a prominent and big brand like Tata/Reliance, etc. So I will not believe in it. Plus you need to also understand that now every one knows the story as this story has been played every time and it is the same output.
You may sell and buy back from 800 or 1000 levels, it is just that you will make a net gain of 500 per share (at max). But if we talk about long term investors like me, I would prefer to accumulate and average the price at every fall. It is good na that I have the buying price of 500, now if Tata Tech falls to 800 or 850, I'll buy more and make it 100 units and then sleep over it for next 10 years. And in between if there is a big markets crash, then I'll buy 100 units more.
I did this mistake with Elxsi & Maruti by selling. I had to sell because of medical emergency (Maruti) and for my sister's marriage (Elxsi). Now I regret. Kash maine Loan le liya hota... Both saw a run of 10K. I deboarded in mid way some 4000 levels.
Theek hai, paisa kaam aaya, in vital moments. Generally people invest for these reasons only.
Thank god I still have Reliance and Asian Paints.
I don't know but I never sell shares that easy if that share is really doing good. I keep the winners with me. I believe in their growth story, I keep an eye on their fundamentals and other releases. Not a very big fan of Technical analysis. But yes I believe in buying good company at right price and that is where Technical analysis enters.
So to conclude, I will not sell and I've given you the rational why?

I luckily alloted 1 lot of tata tech ........I sold 16shares @1240 and withdrawn my investment +5000 as profit.......now all remaining 14 shares are my free shares ......I will hold it for about 5 years

Every creators and expert want to tata share fair valuation .sab operator ne try Kiya Aaj tata ko girane ke liye par public bullish hai .koi share mat bechna yeh ek part hai stock manipulation ka jab girenga to sab aayenge kharidlo bolne. Jab operator maal daba lenge upper circuit laga denge 😂 tab dekhte rahenge retail investor .aur phir aaynge higher price me buy karne..

No need sell now for partial profit or 20k -25k profit ( if it's got only 1 lot. Otherwise, if u have multiple lot then u can book profit)& we know, whatever the current price is, 1300rs now.. It's too much with valuation, but it's TATA company.. Let's wait for consolidate price or drop in share price like around 800-1000 add more quantity there.. Anyway, who got an IPO with a 500rs base price it will become a good average price when we add more quantity.. let's enjoy india market blast and tata share growth in the next 5-10 yrs..😁
I got 1 lot. Now staying put. Wait till Jan 2024, pre ipo investors will exit partially, next exit is in March 2024. Purchase during their exits, you may get better price.

Akshat bai, small profit pluckers never make huge wealth from one single stock, i got some more lot and i will hold it, bcz its TaTa, its not latent view, its Air india, its tata motors, its jaguar land rover many more in future

Can't agree bro. look into charts of Happiest minds, Mankind, Global health, Syrma. I wasn't able to buy a penny back after selling these ipo's. Never ever sell a great company stocks. You can't ever buy them back.
