At this point ferrari should just connect Charles & Carlos's radio together & let them make all strategy calls 😂

Got to appreciate Daniel Riccardo for doing 40 laps at the end on medium tires in that shitbox

I just realized that Max had it all calculated. Starting his domination from Miami meant he would beat Vettels 9 in a row in his homerace at Zandvoort. However, Imola happened, and now he will only "equal" the record in the Netherlands.

Big advantage for McLaren Vs Aston Martin is that McLaren has two drivers.

Loved how towards the end of the race Red Bull had to call in to Max just to check in since they had not heard from him in a while.

Stella confirmed Piastri broke part of floor and thus lost heaps of rear downforce which in turn killed his tyres. Looked good on first stint 2 seconds ahead of Lando, 10 seconds ahead of Lewis

Remember Spain 2016? If Rosberg and Hamilton didn't crash into eachother, Mercedes would have had 21 consecutive wins. (10 before and 10 after Spain)

  • @gameofender4463

Matt & Tommy, for your Twitch streams during the race, would it be possible to have shown on the screen of what lap it is at the time?

Spa is going to be hilarious. Merc, Aston & McLaren all struggling with straight line speed whilst Haas, RB & Williams are gonna legit fly.

  • @thecook238

44 wins at 25 years of age and can easily finish the season with 50 or more. AT TWENTY FIVE! That is actually insane!

I get wanting close racing but as a Verstappen fan (and I think I speak for a lot of MV fans) we've waited a lot of years for him to get into this position so seeing him win by 30+ seconds is extremely satisfying and not at all boring. I understand how others feel, I've been there, and I always found a lot to look out for and enjoy while my driver had no shot at winning the title. So sorry, not sorry, I'll enjoy every second of this - and not saying it to annoy or gloat to anyone, it's just normal I think.

I think everyone forgot that Max found a sweet spot for the car in Baku and since then he's been on a tear. Max even mentioned it in the post race at Baku.

I believe that Ferrari has 2 big problems

Best formula 1 podcast on the net. You guys are always a part of my watch routine for each race. Weekend warmup on Thursday, Free practice 1 and 2 on Friday, practice 3 and quali on Saturday. The race and Funniest tweets on Sunday. The Race review Monday and 1-10 Tuesday. Definitely makes the off weeks feel shorter!

Part of Max's dominance is the fact that he will put in 69 out of 70 perfect laps. So not only does he have a great car but he just has the mental capacity and ability to deliver a lap after lap after lap.

  • @RobertLewis85

The whole race weekend was amazing...until turn 1 of the first lap.

  • @gertmolder791

the mclaren upgrade was planned since winter by the way and thats why it took such a massive step and why it got things right. Apparently they found in january that the car concepts was horrible but the discovered it early enough that they could focus on the new concepts as a mid season upgrade.

  • @cidklutch

Someone needs to take Tommy to Vegas.. that guy's predictions are spot on lately

  • @conflict-tv

The highlight of the entire weekend was Lando smashing Max's trophy into oblivion on the podium. 😂

I imagine this is recorded before the statement made by the Alfa Romeo team, where they said that there were some issue with the braking system, which cut the engine off on Zhou's car during the start of the race. I imagine he then panicked and went way too hot into turn 1. Reminds me of his TR last season in Baku: "Are you kidding me? Guys, we can't just keep having issues when we had a chance." Even more gutted as a Zhou's fan knowing that the bad start is not really his fault at all (obviously going into Danny's back was still his fault, but that's more of a follow up from the mechanical issue he had at the start).
