- I think I've fallen in love again!!! This 10 year old Weihrauch HW100 T is in mint condition, and shoots as if it was made yesterday. What an incredible piece of German engineering.

I can’t recommend these rifles enough, all you will ever need. HW 100
When you miss with a HW you know it’s your fault and not the rifle.
I have pulled off some incredible shots threading pellets through tiny gaps in branches to make a kill shot I thought was impossible time 👍 but repeated these types of shots again and again . These rifles just give the shooter so much confidence they are that good.
Forget twin regs
Adjustable power
Electric triggers
You won’t shoot a better rifle than these straight out of the box.
Buy one and you will not be disappointed 👍

Couple of points you missed, i think, the safety only engages when the rifle is cocked & one of the best things which is missing on most rifles is the anti double load feature.

Very good points, exactly what I was about to add myself.
Also a negative, the moderator could be machined for the precise calibre of the barrel, I'm about to acquire a .22 and will compare sound suppression with my .177, I'm pretty sure my existing setup is much louder than a previous .22 HW100KT.
@user-fz8fy4zl1c is your FAC a carbine or full length/standard?
I have a spare .22 third party mod that's 2/3rds size and I cannot tell the difference.
I was thinking of getting another PCP without a mod, just to make use of it.
Trouble is, I've got HW 100, 99s, 57 and 2 x .22 'semi auto' Sig Sauer (that I cannot PX), so I'm having difficulty justifying another air rifle.
@@harryzero1566the rifle shown is def not a carbine, it’s the full length stock. The carbine version has a shorter stock as well as a shorter barrel. The sub12 version non-carbine has a full length stock and a shorter barrel:) hope this helps. If not the website weihrauch-sport is also very informative
I love both my 100K and 100KT , the full length i had to have the block sleeved as the threads had worn (they have done that at the factory for a long time now to new rifles) but i have such a fondness for this rifle it' was worth doing,it's 19 years old now ! The KT is only 18 months old and they are both as accurate as each other 😀

Amazing rifle. I got into airgun shooting with a crappy Baikal springer & when lockdown hit, I decided to treat myself for a HW100 KT I found online. The guy selling it was an ex army armourer & it was very well tuned & zeroed. The trigger needs only the lightest of pressure. Any misses are down to me, not the rifle. It has never skipped a beat. On the range there are some little metal tear drop targets (about 2cm across) set up at 80m & I can hit them fairly consistently, even though I can barely see them through the scope. Just amazing. Shooting at 30-60m is barely a challenge as the HW100 is a frickin' laser. I actually take the old Baikal out for a bit of a challenge.
I don't really do a lot of shooting now but I'm lothed to sell it, despite it holding its value. I'm hoping to move to a property with a bit of land at some point & when I do, I'll be glad I kept it.
I consider it to be the best airgun in .177 to have fun, compete and win.

Had mine for almost 3 months. Just sighted it in at 33 yards in .22 cal just today. Shoots about 915-920fps using jsb jumbo 18.13 gran pellets. 13 shots right in the bullseye about 1/2 the size of a dime!!! 1 pellet did fly about 3/8 of an inch to the left. Very accuate im happy. Its expensive but if you want accuacy and a reliable pcp get it!!!
I own a gamo phox 177 and the weihrauch HW 100 .22 The Gamo is brilliant for fun and value for money. I have to say the weihrauch is incredibly accurate and a clear step up in terms of quality. I literally can’t recommend this air rifle enough - just fantastic 👌
Great review. I had a Hw100kt many years ago in .22
Worst thing I did was to sell it on. A few months ago I treated myself to a HW100T in .177
It's just a lovely rifle, for all the reasons you mentioned.
Quite by chance, a month later I got a second hand HW110T in laminate.
Lovely accurate rifle, but the loading is awful compared to it's big brother.

BTW try and get hold of some JSB Jumbo Express 7.87gn. Both rifles love them.

I've spent much of this week fixated on the FX airguns, mainly the dreamline and panthera.
but in less than half a day I'm already obsessed with the HW100KT!
Half the cost of the FX brand rifles and absolutely none of the problems, I'm yet to hear a bad word said about this model!

My AA s410 is a 20+ year old A version. Still in tip top condition. Combined with an old Philippine made Simmons Whitetail Classic 1.5-5x20 Scope takes some beating

I shoot a 100 Sporter and it will never be sold.
With mine, I’ve found that the QYS Domed, 8.48’s, outshoot everything else.
The myth that they lose stability past 30 yards is just that, a myth.
Out to 45 yards, they perform brilliantly.
I pellet test regularly searching for a ‘magical batch’ and every time they shoot better than JSB & AA’s.
It did like the first batch of Baracuda 8’s but subsequent batches have been poor in the gun.

I have the rifle in the carbine sport version (KS) and it’s everything you have said accurate beautifully engineered and comfortable to hold and shoulder
in my opinion as a fac shooter the shroud is to help quieten the shot, in sub 12 ftlbs im sure the quietness is easily controlled with just a moderator
Not quite...I've just replied to a similar comment...

The added benefit to that is the air pressure surrounding the barrel stiffens it so providing more strength. And there are many other rifles that use the shroud to stiffen and harmonize the barrel. What I've noticed is that many shrouded barrels have much thinner walls than un-shrouded barrels and you'll see from some of my reviews that I've measured wall thickness to see the difference. Take the liners that FX uses...these are technically barrels and they are only a couple of millimeters thick.
Regards your point about the shroud being a moderator...again not quite right unless the shroud extends past the barrel and there is a void in which air can escape the barrel and enter another chamber (the moderator) prior to accessing the atmosphere. Many shrouds simple terminate at the muzzle end of the barrel and there is no sound moderation at all.

Got exactly the same model but in . 20 cal (5.08) can't say anything or add anything about it you haven't already said.. A truly awesome rifle in every respect. The. 20 mirrors accuracy of the . 177 though pellet choice isn't as varied... That said the pellets mine prefers are spot on, hence a wider choice isn't really a problem.. One minor point ( and I may have miss heard) there is NO WAY your gonna get the 180 shots out of the 177, mine gets around 100 - 110 and I suspect the. 22 around 120.. That said I MAY have miss heard what you said... Oh, and. 22 is 14 shot magazine.. Same as the others ( not 12)...

I get 200 out of my .177 but its been rat worked so I think that makes a difference.
I had a kt the most accurate gun I’ve owned but with 1 pellet only.traded the gun for a bpk because I hunt alot out of windows.the bpk is not as accurate but is less pellet fussy would like to see your review and your opinions.as ever great review merry Christmas.

I was lucky enough to come across and purchase a fully customized Hw100 T in 177 the photo is on my profile I added the sidewinder but the stock was hand crafted in African wood the gent I bought the rifle off had already put in a full competition loading mechanism had it for £700 then added the sidewinder which I always wanted beast lol , only other gun I found better was my Theoben Rapid 7 mk2 that was an incredible rifle.

I've got the perfect hw100 , put a bottle conversion kit on it with a 500cc carbon bottle , shots for days (400 + easy )👌🏻😂

What about the power issue with the hw100 t does it still loose power after a couple of weeks

Hi @ernestgtipping3313, so whilst shooting the HW100T is used my go to Hawke 30mm one piece, but inside the mount you can see, is a yet to be branded, one piece extended reach, quick release which I was testing for a supplier. Does it compare with another German manufacturer Diana with a similar product?
The only Diana PCP that I've shot so far is the P1000 Evo and although that's a good rifle, it's no where near the HW100. Completely different league. Thanks for watching and all the best

Weihrauch make their own barrels...
