Acirema DiLaurentis I seriously love the books and I had such low expectations for the movie that I was amazed and I loved it, even though they cut some scenes that I really wanted to see (LJ crashing the car, Peter getting jealous about the Halloween costume, when they go to the state sale,etc) it’s understandable that they’re not going to be able to put everything or go in a slower pace but overall it had me grinning every time
LJ and Peter interact. And I have hope that if they do the other books they’ll maybe put some of the things they didn’t on this one.

Acirema DiLaurentis When I watched it the first time I was a little disappointed because I started to compare every single scene with the book, but the second time I thought that the movie was PERFECT! I stopped comparing it and I saw like all the details of the movie like the chemistry between the characters, the outfits (I JUST LOVED THE OUTFITS), the scenography, the colors, the soundtrack! It’s a really well made movie and a great Rom-com

IKR! I was so worried about the second book being turned into a movie because they've already included it in this movie. BUT! There are still more from the second book that could make it to the movie:
1. The resoulution of Peter finally letting go of Gen completely. It wasn't mentioned in the movie that Peter knew about Gen taking and sharing the video. Plus! Th Hot Tub Incident will resurface to haunt Lara Jean, even if she thought it has completely died down.
2. The second movie could be more of a John Ambrose movie. The second movie will leave viewers completely confused about who should be with Lara Jean. LJ and Peter are opposites, and LJ and John Ambrose are so much alike, so, there will be a lot of Peter VS. John in the second movie.
3. They haven't introduced Ms Rothschild and Stormy yet! And Jamie Fox-Pickle! I mean! Come on! You know it, THEY HAVE TO.
Even though I'm African American it was nice to see that someone who isn't white starring in a romantic movie. Great job Netflix 👍

The company that produced this movie was the only one that would let LJ stay Asian American. A lot of the people this movie was pitched to wanted to make her white. I’m excited for even more representation in the years to come.
