    Hey anrijs,
    For lining you need to try the 3.7mm stroke excenter and black pin, about 13v. And for cartridges remove the return spring. It's an amazing power liner and packer, it's a shame they don't simply put the 3.7mm excenter in the box. Like you said it was announced as a power liner, so it Whould have been nicer if we shouldn't have to buy an additional stroke excenter to get the full potential out of the machine.
    Best regards :)

    Your top favorite tattoos for 2019? I will watch anything! A day in your life! 🙏🏼🖤💀 also hi to the straume family!

I will think about go too products, but pretty much everything I use I already done video about it. Hopefully more videos coming up soon!

    I’m so glad to hear your review on this one.
    I bought one from Australian Tattoo a Expo back in September. I did a cover up straight away so I could experiment using cartridge. The shading and colour definitely worked well but lining with was a little difficult, I also changed the tension exactly as you said - but like it was not going in enough.
    I outlined a back piece and used traditional (metal grips) set up, I had machine running at 11v, the pick up was great. Machine run smooth, no noise or shaking. not really whatI want to like at all the time.
    After many pieces, I’m happy to say it’s my preferred shader machine. I haven’t yet found the perfect lining set up. Thank you 🙏 jazzy_fame WA

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Před 4 lety +1

      Great to hear with metal grips it worked better , I will still have to try it more. other artist mentioned in comments removing spring can make it less softer and more punchier too. will have to try that too. I guess too soft machine is not the worst problem. ussualy it's other way around, hard to find smooth soft shader. This will deffo be the one.

    Hi Anrjis, I often follow your videos which are always a very useful help for those who are beginners, thank you! I started with a Flite Nano and thought I would add a machine for the lines. I had thought exactly about the Eclipse so as to work on a balanced voltage with the Flite. People like Jenna Kerr say Eclipse makes lines like butter and attracts me very much. From what I understand, it works great even with cartridges. The machine has been on the market for about a year. I'm curious to see it in action, also because it's very expensive. I am impatient for someone to show on video how he works on skin. Thanks for all

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Před 4 lety +1

      I'm sure there's many videos of how it works on their instagram what you can check out. I don't think it's that important personally. as even if there will be some good videos how people line and shade with these. once you get it yourself you might not be able to achieve the same result, as it all depends on artist / needles / tubes / preference / speed / voltage etc..

    I agree with the fact that it hits too soft. Its confusing to me because i’ve seen videos where it can push huge liners but even when I changed the bar it still hit softer. I reached out to Inkjecta and was told to take out the spring and start at 11volts-15. I haven’t tried it with those changes but maybe it’ll help

      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Před 4 lety +2

      I do plan to add few more time-lapse videos, but my main goal for this channel is to help other artists with some advice , reviews , tips and in general useful information about what I learn myself over the years. My mentor pulled the trigger and got this machine and he loves it. He lines with it on 10.2 volts. I personally dont care to line with an inkjecta, I have a flite v2 and a nano and they're my shaders and color machines. I personally like to line with my Dan Kubin Swingliners or DMC.

      that's cool to hear he loves it, I'll have to try to mess around with some of the setup and see if it will be more punchier. But yeah I don't think there's many rotary machines what can line better then Kubins.

    @liveforeverclub8254 Před 4 lety

    You have it set up wrong in video. The needle is rubbing the bottom of the tube. And the tensioner too much pressure. No bend in needle!? It's brushless so it needs more voltage around 12 upwards

    • @AnrijsStraumeTattoo
      @AnrijsStraumeTattoo  Před 4 lety

      This was for quick demo setup, not tattooing or how to , wasn't paying much attention to how needle goes or if it even was bent or not. 12 volts for brushless machine might be your personal opinion, not the actual need. There's many brushless machines what works perfectly fine on 8-10 volts. or even lower.

    • @liveforeverclub8254
      @liveforeverclub8254 Před 4 lety

      I understand but I'm just on about the reason you say you don't like lines with it is because the cycles per second wer not high enough to comfortably line.

    Hey, i loved this video. I am buying a tattoo machine, it would be my first one. Previuosly i had trained a little bit with oldschool non rotary one, wich takes regular needels. But nowadays there so many types and models of newskool machines that it gets me so confusing. I am dont know where should be my starting basic point. From this video i have a feeling, that this injekta machine could be the perfect base for begging. I would love if you could make a video, explaining a little bit types, designs and pros and cons of most popular tattoo machines. Just get some basic explanation what would are the main differences and what could be the best for the beggining. Moneywise, i would better pay more for the better product, but not crazy money, and definite.y not the cheapest options. I would love to see your opinion. Thank you;)

      Thanks, Like you said there's so many types, it's almost impossible to make compare videos like that. Hundreds different machines nowadays , and thousands of artists with experiences , opinions and preferences. What will work for me , will not work for many others and what I think will be best machine can end up to be worst machine for others. I do not advice start tattooing from home. if you have apprenticeship already - I do always say try to talk to your mentor about machines / needless / other supplies etc.. as they will be the ones who will help you out with right guidance. Good luck with everything.
