It’s literally laid out from chapter 6-9 with the whole point being Ahaz didn’t merit that his kingdom be saved but God still saved him because of His promise to David. And the children were all named after the victory that would soon approach. To say this all alludes to Jesus 600 years later is a stretch. To say Isaiah 53 is about 1 individual is only part of the point, all of Israel that cleave to God will ultimately be held high in esteem, and the nations who all are anti semitic scum who have persecuted Jews for um.. ALL TIME, will realize ultimately that the Jews were right all along. I see no reference to a virgin man god from the book of Isaiah. Case closed.

What a sweet man! I'm not Catholic but one time I was in a desperate and desolate situation, stranded and all I had was a Catholic prayer card someone had given me. I prayed the exact way it said to on that card at the exact time of day for the exact number of days and suddenly my prayers were answered. I asked the person how they found me and they told me God sent an Angel telling them to go to me and where I was! Today I keep that prayer card on the table by my bed.

I think rabbi, if you understand Christianity, Jewish beliefe in Jesus does not undermine Jewishness in any way. Most of my Jewish Christian friends still keep their Jewish traditions. I think it's beautiful.
