    I got mine yesterday and good god I love this machine!! I have almost all wood floors and laminate on one floor. I have a puppy that likes to have accidents. So easy to grab this!!! Seriously...worth every penny. I’m surprised the cleaning liquid works pretty well.

    I also love the lcd, very futuristic. Decided to buy this tomorrow. Have you tried using vinegar in the solution? The solution is quite expensive though.

    How well does it scrub? I have a large marble floor area to clean every day, and the issue is mostly scrubbing the floor. The dog brings in some dirty footprints, and lays down causing a dried patch on the floor that sometimes needs a few pushes of the mop to get spots scrubbed off.

      There is a significant amount of liquid that comes out even on the lowest setting. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend its use on carpet.
      it’s great for hardwood floors and tile :)

      Yes a mild one for sure. One risk would be it may bleach the fabric roller color. If you're okay with that you should be good. Maybe all water an a cap full of bleach as in table spoon? Let me know how it goes! :)

      Great question! Haven't tried to use it dry. Theoretically should work. We mainly use it for after we vacuum to polish and scrub the hardwood floors and ceramic tiles.

    Are you still loving it? We have two huskies so realistically letting this thing vacuum is not feasible. We usually let our robot vacuum (roborock s5) go around and get the big clumps. But they track in mud all the time. Paw prints everywhere. Hoping it will work well for that.

    Hopefully you can answer this, but how does it do on time with grout. Does it actually somewhat clean the grout or does it just glide over it?

      If your grout isn’t too deep and roller spins parallel to the lines it can. Clean them. It just glides over them for me if you go perpendicular.

      Great question! For us, Every 3-4 times we clean the filter, yes after the auto clean cycle completes.

      I believe if you remove the water tank, the dirty water tank, the roller brush, you can clean what connects all of these, the tubing, Hope that helps

      not silly at all. It’s battery level, I believe. And the rings represent how dirty the unit believes the floor under it to currently be. If it’s very dirty and goes red it will crank up the suction and fluid. Hope that helps and hope you have a great day

    Does the self-cleaning get the rollers really clean? Are the rollers machine washable? How often would you say they need to be cleaned (not taking into account the self-cleaning option)?

      Great question. It does an OK job of automatically cleaning them. We manually self clean them monthly and it seems to keep them tiptop. haven’t checked if it’s machine washable. We normally wash and dry by hand

    Have you tried any other cleaning solutions? Eg. Murphy’s oil soap, vinegar and water, etc. If you have, have you noticed a difference in how well it cleans?

    What do the colors on the ring mean? Does it have a vacuum only setting to use on carpet?

      The suction power gauge, it auto increases as it detects tough grudgy build up. I couldn’t find a way to turn off the liquid only to turn it down very low.

      Hi! Great question!
      The included solution leaves a residue even when watered down. The roller does get quite saturated.
      Yes we prefer deluled vinegar. there is also a nice app setting that you can dial down the amount of water that comes out which we prefer when using on hardwood.

      Great question. We normally move everything we can when were using it. But for the really hard to reach places and edges we normally clean manually with hot water and vinegar

    Curious if you've tried using vinegar like you stated in the video? I just ordered a tineco and that's my only concern. Normally I prefer to clean with vinegar but the site HIGHLY recommends to only use their cleaner....

      Yes so the instructions specifically say to only use their cleaner. We’ve had two of this unit that has failed and we’re not 100% sure if it was the vinegar that we used in it. So unfortunately we don’t recommend using vinegar even though stated in this video.

      We’ve been using it on our hardwood floors for close to a year. We love it it doesn’t mess it up. Adding a light solution to the water works perfectly. Not some thing harsh or acidic.

      We believe that the vinegar solution ruined two motors. We’re now on our third model. even though we stayed at in the video, I would recommend the Tineco solution instead of vinegar.

      Although I don’t recommend because I can’t completely confirm that’s what broke two of ours, here are the ratios that we used.
      We used “cap” of vinegar. in the small tank, obviously not the dirty water tank. Which would probably be a teaspoon or tablespoon. hope that helps

    Hi! I'm really curious about the maintenance. Where does the solid debris, hair and fur go? Surely the parts need to be cleaned out and dried to avoid it smelling up? I have a Hizero which is somewhat similar I think.. hoping that the maintenance is easier on the s3 though!

      So any hair, dust, or debris that will put in the dirty water tank and then you will have to expel it. Obviously it doesn’t pick up large chunks like a vacuum. Hope that helps

    So i have 1 dog and our floors are almost never super dirty. I try to dry vacuum without water (on our hard floors) and the debris goes straight to the filter, clogs it up and makes the machine louder meaning to change the DWT. However the tank is still completely empty. The debris just goes straight upwards to that filter and sticks, making it think the tank is full. I contacted tineco 10xs with no offer of replacement or refund. Finally amazon sent me a new one. It does the same exact thing! So I am assuming this isnt good for DRY vacuuming. It happens even when i do it on my area rug. Maybe will workout better only if you use water? Idk but that is falsely advertised since it does say dry vac. Hoping for a tip before i return my 2nd one

      GREAT POINTS! Yes they mention dry vac. but we ONLY use it on tile and hardwood floor and its perfect! we've stopped using it as a carpet machine and leave that up to bissel and roomba ;).     Wouldn't the brush get moldy/grow bacteria if not cleaned after each use? I see it cleans itself, but the fact that it stays wet with little air to dry it out makes me worried

      My wife has very thick hair, and I have two Himalayan cats, and I haven’t really noticed the hair around the roller brush.
      it’s a microfibre roller brush like a sponge or a painters brush, so hairs don’t really wrap around it like a vacuum they typically suck up into the dirty water tank.

      Unfortunately this unit only allows suction well wet mopping. It doesn’t allow you to turn off the water at any point, nor the vacuum. hope that helps

    Anyone knows about customer service with Tineco and warranty??

      Yes I’ve had to reach out to them a bunch of times and they’re absolutely fantastic and amazing. Even though things were out of warranty they replaced them right away with zero cost to me. Hope that helps great company

      I believe it’s because I was adding vinegar into the water solution. We now stick with the regular solution included in the box and I haven’t had a failure cents

      Each valve unit was replaced by the company for free without any cost to us. Highly recommended amazing company

      Not really. I would say it’s 75% as loud as a Dyson V-6 or V-8. Hope that helps. Hope you have a great day!

      Why did you turn the volume off when using it? We do not get any idea of how noisy it is!!!

      Great point I can definitely make a note to do volume comparisons better in the future. It’s much quieter than any vacuum. I know that’s fairly abstract but I hope it helps

    Tineco Nass Trockensauger wird nicht in einem Laden Verkauft sondern nur Online, nirgendwo kann man den Service von Tineco sich erkundigen und Tineco ruft auch keine Kunden an.

      yeah sorry about that the volume is a little low. But you can turn up the volume on your TV or phone and that should help. please let me know if that helped? Hope you have a good day
