he's one of the istari so he's forbidden to use most of his power (hence his trademarked flaming pinecones)
when he fights the nazgul and the balrog (both times away from other people) he does use his powers
Gandalf wins if he gets on shadowfax and stays at range.. I assume saurons speed power wears off after a while and gandalf can just ride around and cast spells. But maybe then it ends in a draw as both regenerate health as the spells regenerate

I have edain 4.5, but have not seen anything like this. How are you getting 2 heroes to fight on a separate map, both with the 1 ring?

Not if Gandalf had the Ring as in this scenario, it would not have been. Gandalf in this form is essentially returned to his full Maiar power again, and the equal of Sauron. What the hell is that 'kill everything in two hits' ability?
gandalfthegreatestwizard I think you are going from an Iron Crown/MERP interpretation.
If Gandalf the White is at his full Maiar form, then yes, he should be equal to Sauron, but the One Ring only makes Gandalf the White equal to Sauron without the One Ring, again in ICE/MERP.
But if this is Edain's intent on making Gandalf the White full Maiar with the One Ring, then yes, he should actually be equal.
Happy Wheeler I'm fairly sure they imply (at least in later versions of the mod) that Gandalf is returned to his Maiar state in this form (which would be Gandalf, and he obviously has the One Ring, so he is then equal. Even if he is still weakened, he could challenge Sauron with the Ring (that is, if he wanted to break the rules of Manwe)- remember Elendil and Gil-galad? Gandalf with the One Ring has (or should have) at least as much power as both. This Sauron blademaster is BS, I think he should just have a higher regular attack. Sauron's main focus as a hero should be creating massive orc armies, making them stronger, and possibly creating industry, along with a few good army killers... :P
gandalfthegreatestwizard Dude I have read some stuff on the comments page of Edain. On moddb. You should advocate for Gandalf to get a damage boost since he has Glamdring, or at least ask them to use his firework cart as another steed of his, I mean WK gets two steeds.

That could be cool too though... with fireworks pouring out as he moves... I need it in my life (almost as much as I need hobbit pony riders and an option for Sam to mount Bill).

thats just stupid, the one ring IS PART OF SAURON, thats like taken all of galadriels powers put it into a ring and give that to one of those 2, or to make it clearer, to give sauron 3 sauron arms and gandalf 2 gandalf arms and 1 sauron arm
though you can still use this arm, if youre strong enough, its just it will poison you, untill you become corrupted just like the arm :D

In normal map there is only one ring...
well in normal map you can bug the ring so you will wait and get the ring on last second then there would be 2 rings , you have 1 ring and other one has gollum so you gotta find him and you have 2 ringheroes

On another note . . . I don't think Sauron should be losing this much. Didn't Gandalf say that he was more dangerous than anything Gimli would ever meet, unless he was brought alive before the Dark Throne? You'd think that the One Ring, being originally Sauron's, would suit Sauron best of all.
