EVERY time I hear this, it brings years to my eyes... SO powerful !
what a sound.
Mahler s music is absolutely Heavenly. What a name for his 8th Symphony: The Symphony Of A Thousand
But this isn't the 8th. It's the 2nd. Symphony "Resurrection"
Strana orchestrazione, molto personale....ma l'orchestra e soprattutto gli archi erano "luminosi".
Troppo lento.
It's subjective but I personnly very like this !!!🤩🤷♂️
And do you hear the sound !! Ok it's the concertegebouw but try to hear the concertgebouw with another conductor and you will understand how incredible ears have Gatti !
Have to take exception with your assessment. To me, it is SPOT ON... tempo-wise. I can't imagine it being any faster, considering the grandeur and layering of parts.
Zu langsam. Keine Spannung
Spannung ?! haha.. Denn mussen Sie ganze høren und Mahler's no.5 Adagietto Sehr Langsam. Oder gerade aus nach Hauptbahnhof, aber schnell !! :)
Totale unsinn!
Rather academic sounding. I don't think the orchestra is convinced.
Soprano's terribly out of tune, much too low. And much too slow!!
