I am arts student still without any coching help i clear ssc cgl pre and faced three times ibps interview. I know important of maths and science but without humanity subject deep understanding you can't become a good as well as near to perfect civil servants.

Later on, everyone's stream is different, hence basic knowledge is very important, it would be better if you do not study ( 11or12) further because there are other subjects to study. You should quickly understand what to study and what not to study in UPSC exam... Seats are limited in this exam and the level of exam is quite tough, success is uncertain so you should always have a plan B and it will be safer side for you Otherwise it is like gambling.
Completely agree with this comment. For being a part of administration not just social science rather else subjects including mathematics & science played a crucial role. Similar is with ssc where not only mathematics rather general knowledge in which social science also gets covered, demonstrates the significance of demand raised from administrative jobs in which you are intending to enroll. I personally believe that being a part of administration a person should not stuck only with one subject. Rather must build a strong fundamental command over both sst & mathematics. So that you could mark your worthiness as an efficient member of indian administration.

This is the drawback of UPSC... They appoint generalist people for specialist work... Like for DM candidates should have learnt Public Admin /polity.. For IPS should have learnt security management, for IRS should have studied maths/economics /commerce.... And UPSC should have allocated these posts accordingly

It also analyses your character and thinking style or attitude,etc that is through different exams (prelims,mains) and mainly through interview (which is face to face). And their they will check your expertise in their required matters. If you are able to prove it then it doesn't matter from which background you are.

And corporate law is one of them and even in that it's more about handling outside the business meaning allegation, lawsuits, patent etc. CS is strictly towards company law and working of company within it. Advocates don't have signing power but CS does. And even in that case CA can completely occupy CMAs since 75-80% syallabus is literally same. Just because it's same or similar doesn't mean the one with superior branding or knowledge should get it

Corporate law is more toward Advocates than CS
@@cmaashidkhan5302 incorrect. Advocate has various types of knowledge. And corporate law is one of them and even in that it's more about handling outside the business meaning allegation, lawsuits, patent etc. CS is strictly towards company law and working of company within it. Advocates don't have signing power but CS does. And even in that case CA can completely occupy CMAs since 75-80% syallabus is literally same. Just because it's same or similar doesn't mean the one with superior branding or knowledge should get it
