- A column of Sherman tanks makes its way east on a thin road out of Normandy through dense hedges and stubby trees. At the end, everyone is reminded that it's all Roosevelt's fault.

Why are there so many complaints about this not being real? Who cares? It's a great animation! Good job Brick Dictator!
Who cares? You care.
*Well Your a Batch EternalFriendly*
IceCreamJunkie it was kinda real. The Shermans has the standard 75mm, which I believe couldn’t pen the panther
@@abbyvonzorro2782 yea it could not
@@abbyvonzorro2782 Yea, back then when the Americans first encountered the Panther A, and G, their M4A1, M4A2, and the M4A3 Sherman's 75mm could pen them let alone that they have a 45 degree sloped front. Later when the Americans have the M4A1 Sherman with the early 76mm, it could pen the Panther's front including the Tiger E's front hull too. So they had the M4A2 76, and the M4A3 HVSS 76 tanks. Also it includes the their British brother, the Sherman Firefly with the 17 pounder cannon which can pen the Tiger and the Panther too.
I loved the german at the end "don't blame me, I voted Wilkie"
I have never seen anyone before actually remembering Hitler wasn't the only choice, yet he got elected.
+Michael VPS I believe he was referring to Wendell Willkie, who ran against Roosevelt in the 1940 election.

@@MrCalimero yes, you are right, but the Nazi party did though.
I love how well done the tanks, soldiers and special effects were done

How does he make the impacts on the tanks look so amazing
John Doe i dont really remember but i think he said that he melted some of the brick to give the effect
I always thought he used like aluminum foil or clay or something but melting the brick would make sense. It looks great however he does it!

"Don't blame me, I voted for Willkie"
lol
I dont get it pls explain
@@simoncivin1619 I know that this is am old comment but I've decided to answer this question. Wilkie was a candidate in the German elections. Although Wilkie won a huge vote, a far more popular ww1 general, Hindenburg was made leader and Hitler was absolutely destroyed in the elections, Hindenburg was pressured to appoint Hitler as chancellor. By this time Hindenburg was getting old and died due to age. Hitler was then made president of Germany. And the rest is history. Wilkie was a fairly popular candidate but ultimately lost against Hindenburg and then Hitler would control
You are AWESOMMEEEEE
approaching 10 years and this is still such a banger

This is such a great animation!!! Nice work!!! But I have one question, I don't mean to offend the creator, because this video is great, but why are the sherman medium tanks gray?
He probably couldn't find the needed bricks in the correct colour. I don't think these are official LEGO pieces because LEGO has a zero-tolerance policy on real warfare.
its most likely a brickmania kit, most of their models are in grey or desert tan
Lego has not made a correct color for a Sherman, or any other 1940's US military equipment yet. Olive green is close, but still a little off, and also there isn't enough brick variety yet to make something detailed and accurate looking
Another amazing video keep up the good work!
Wow that was intense! Nice animation!
More realistic than fury
This is unrealistic! The panther wouldn't have exposed its side! XD
Awesome Video! XD Best (and most accurate) WWII animation I've seen. It's even more accurate than any movies! XD

I rofled so hard!
actually fyi to some u guys...u know it can not pen the front of Panther but the Canadians figured out how to pen it frontally...the turret ring....thus disabling the Panther and to richie teach the 75mm shell would make a pretty big dent do to its force even the gun mantlet ( thickest armour of the tank ) of the tank will have a huge chunk missing due to the force of a shell
A tanks weakspot is the turret ring,as long as you can penetrate it it will 90℅ of tge time to blow the ammo up or just the trret if the shell is really big like the ISU-152 or the IS-2
The panther has only one weakspot for a sherman. The Sherman has no Armour for a panther.
Awesome animation! Great job!
It woulb be awesome if you could make a waterloo battle !! Great vid!
I love how everyone will say that allies had the firefly with 76mm gun
you guys dont understand that alies had probably 10 of these shermans with SHIT armor in 1 battle.
Germans didnt need to use just 1 good tank and 100 shit ones.
all of their tanks Panzer III ( latest version ) - Tiger 2 entered combat and completely destroyed any tank the allied used. Even KV-1 and IS
Tell that to the Sherman Firefly that killed Michael Wittmann and five other Tigers/Panthers in one engagement.
Michael Spears
Tell that to Michael Wittmann who he and his crew killed 14 tanks, 15 personnel carriers and 2 anti-tank guns in less than 15 minutes with just his 1 Tiger.
:)
UltraGamer Except the Allies could afford the losses. Yeah the tank is great. But they were always outnumbered. It's like the Spartans at Thermopylae.
Yes they were armored, held a fixed, highly effective fighting position. But they were still outnumbered. And they still lost.
Great armor doesn't mean hell when you knock out two tanks and three have already flanked you.
These tanks were also plagued with mechanical failures. Especially the Panther. The first ones that entered service at Kursk were effective in combat, but practically everyone failed at some point.
Yes multiple Tiger crews scored well over 10:1 ratios.
But overall tank casualties were always 2:1 in favor of the German army.
Anyway point is, yes Wittmann killed a lot of tanks and armor in his very effective, heavily armed Tiger. But one Sherman with "SHIT armor" managed to knock at least five Tigers.
Michael Spears
You cant flank a Panther because it was a fast tank.
and you just proved that the only reason allies won is because of higher numbers.
for example look at top ACES.Only germans aces have 100+ confirmed kills while allied are like 50 and bellow.
How did british survive such looses when just 3 german pilots had taken out 400 british fighters? how did russians and americans survive such looses too? especially their tanks.
Just because of numbers and puting their crews in full danger.
yes germans at the end of the war lost, but at least their tanks could actually protect them and feel 'safe'.Americans were afraid to get in their Sherman when fighting german Panzers and Panthers because 1 shot from a Panther or PZ IV was a sure kill.
UltraGamer Yes you can flank a Panther because they were a mechanical mess. You can flank any tank.
At the Battle of Arracourt the Panthers were outgunned and outmaneuvered by the M-18 and M-10 assault guns. They suffered over eighty tank losses and over a hundred critically disabled to about thirty tank destroyers.
Anyway my point is that the quality of the tank doesn't count when you're outnumbered ten to one.
And please give my information of those four hundred pilots casualties. If it was bombers than that's sounds softly reasonable. But I highly doubt that its 400, considering the skill of the British pilots at Britain, where 2,700 German pilots exceeded just 544 British deaths.
Even though the German tanks were superior; they suffered substantial losses. They probably felt safe in their tanks against a classic Sherman or T-34, but against artillery and air support I wouldn't reckon it.
I have a Panther tank. Your argument is invalid!
MegaKaiser45 oh yea I has maus
Knut Aarstad I has good grammar :P

No I have a RATTE P1500

These are the best lego tank stop motion video I've ever seen (the side armor of the panther can be penetated by a sherman.)
Love how you use .22 rounds for the cannon for the start
Mark Felton would like a word with you
As would the Chieftain and Steve Zaloga...
Panther's chad long 75mm vs Sherman's virgin short 75mm.
You amaze me even more with every video
these WW2 vids are REALLY GOOD! but my favorites are your 100 year war vids, can you do a few more of those?
4/10 no transmissions broke down
Cranky Yankee
@@ntrslmgbshitty tanky
One way to take out the tank was to take another tank behind it and shoot it from behind. The German Panzer Tank, like I said, was one of the best tanks EVER
False, the sherman was reliable and unlike this animation shows, you could escape it easily, fix it easily, modify its gun to punch through any German tank, (spoiler the U.S. And The other allies did) and modify the armour to survive the highest caliber German gun. Considering this the panther and Sherman are pretty equal. Except the panther and tiger broke down in flash, and the Sherman was produced in the tens of thousands, while the panther was only produced in VERY small numbers, in conclusion the Sherman was the best tank of the war
Tonia Davis actually, it was the T-34. Even german officers admitted it.
Well There were like many models of Panzers.
@@toniadavis7433 well In this Sherman were M4 i think, which are easy prey for Panther. If any were Sherman Firefly, The Panther would have been penetrated easily
@@toniadavis7433 bruh he said "one of the best" which mean Panther is part of the best tank on ww2
really good animated . good job !!! :)
Holy crap I never knew Legos could be that violent. Quite the production!
almost all shermans damaged during theh war where due to engine problems not other tanks that what happens when u go quantity over quality
Germany had that problem too... a lot.
mostly on panther and tiger 2
Wrong tanks....
The Panther and Tiger I and II broke down... M4 Shermans were renown for their mechanical reliability
google it m4 broke down alot tiger 1 was reliably panther broke down alot
ask homann The Sherman did not break down often. However, due to its narrow tracks, it threw its track way more often than per say a Tiger. But regarding the machinery far from it.
The Tiger's transmission, drive shaft, and HL-230 P45 Maybach engine were delicate, underpowered, and often unreliable.
Late war Panthers, surprisingly saw marginally less mechanical problems than the Tiger. However that being said, early war Panthers and the PzKpfw. VI Ausf. B KonigsTiger were renown for being unreliable.
Natürlich der deutsche soldat muss blond sein :P

This is a lot better than the other stop motion battles
Amazingly well done.
The 75mm M3 cannon can go strait through the side armor of the Panther
Depends on certain factors
@@Titoxic_ even at that angle it should go right in the panthers armor like butter
this is a very well made animation !
This is amazing!
This is awesome!
Great video its completly historically accurate
Awesome animation bro. I dont know if theirs eny one better thn you.
Another superb animation! Well done. However I must say that the shot to the Panther's side armor (made by the second Sherman) would have destroyed it, as the side armor was significantly weaker than the frontal and vulnerable to the 75mm. Also by this time in the war most Sherman formations included at least one "Easy Eight" which could destroy a Panther with ease. But forget that and keep the great videos coming!
Damn fine job!
Its impressive work you did here, I totally subscribbed, I wonder... is there any tutorial on how to make these tanks? Well I know these require a lot of different brick types not available together so it would be needed to get several lego sets or buy isolated bricks etc well I just ask because the way you do them look impressive, keep up the awesome work =)
