Hey Dinma. Carrot oil is one of my staple DIY homemade oils. I make two types of carrot oil, one is for my scalp and hair only, the other one is for my face and body. The difference between the two types of carrot oil is the amount of EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil) used. Since my hair is protein-sensitive, I use very little in the scalp/hair version to prevent my hair from becoming very hard from the protein found in EVCO. However, I add a lot of EVCO to the face/body version, because it lubricates and moisturizes my skin beautifully.

You have provided so many solutions for hair treatment, I’m totally confused which one to follow
Just keep in mind that these recipes are stuff that she has i coronates through tout the years of her hair journey!! What I would highly recommend is to take the recipes u really like and watch other videos of what other people may think of that hair product.. I at times get overwhelmed to sometimes. What I do is go after the stuff I realllu like or intrigued by and stick with it for 3-6 months. Make urself a bucket list on what products h would like to try. Carrot oil is one of those things u can use in hair and skin routine so I know it’s on my list! Right now I am doing cinnamon and rosemary hairspray!! I actually got it from her and when I tell u my hair has flourished in protective style!! It’s flourished. It’s been a month and maybe 1-2 weeks and I will continue for another 3/4 months maybe
Just pick the one you love or that meets your hair needs. Questions to ask yourself. What is my hair porosity? What do i want to focus on for the the next couple of months; moisture/ protein-moisture, moisture? Am i focusing on growth (length or thickness)? Hope this helps.

As a child, my father used to make carrot infused water for me to drink when ever my skin decided to break out. It cleared my skin in less than 1 week. Carrots are excellent for skin and hair care. I can not wait to try this.

Thanks for the great information. Just curious, I have red palm kernel oil. It is insanely high in beta carotene and smells like carrots when warmed. Seems like that would be easier and equally successful. Making your hair growth tea today!

Hi. I made your hair tea and used last night. Anxious to see the outcome. I have a question about this carrot oil. I couldn't find the coconut oil liquified so i used coconut oil that was solid. I pulled out the oil to use last night and it was solidified. Is it because I used the solid coconut oil? I did like it though it was a hair grease.
Exactly! That’s what happens when you use the solidified coconut oil , this that I used is good , it never solidifies

Hi am made this mixture now but after making the oil to cool down the carrots didn’t turn dark (doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work) and I use white coconut oil half virgin and normal coconut oil

Exactly as you did. Carrot and coconut oil. Followed the exact method as you, but the thing is that the carrot shrunk, but it didn't get dry while frying, and it didn't look burnt after it cooled down.

@@anthoniaekwueme9516 I get it now , it actually means your weather is too cold , mine hasn’t frozen since I made it and again , I guess it’s from the brand of coconut oil . There are some that usually looks like Shea butter but pure white and you have to melt before use , if that’s what you used, then it will freeze especially if your weather is cold

RECIPE
Ingredients, only 2:
*Three carrots
*2 cups extra virgin coconut oil ( the kind that does not solidify)
Instructions:
1. Shred carrots w/ a grater
2. Put 2 cups of coconut oil in pan on Low heat
3. Pour in carrots stirring constantly
4. When carrots start to become crispy and are shrinking, oil ready (once starts to cool carrots will turn a darker color)
5. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely, then strain.
6. Pour in applicator bottle and apply to scalp and hair.
