I absolutely cannot allow myself to enter the world of fountain pens. I have come close a couple times but have managed to miraculously talk myself out of it. A brand new journal is absolutely the most intimidating thing ever! … that and a pack of stickers.

As a writer I loved this talk
Few things will get me to click on a video faster than "epic stationery." I swatch my inks too, on the Colodex cards -- I don't own many inks but I've gone through quite a lot of the little samples from Wonderpens. Writer's Blood, like Writer's Tears (whisky), was totally a name-motivated sample for me too. I too went on a TWSBI adventure! 🤣They're my favourites - I've got the Diamond 580, the Vac 700R, and a Go.
Just a note, as a fellow paper junkie, Stalogy works amazingly well with fountain pens and is considerably cheaper. It's my go-to.

How I wish I could fall into fountain pens. But it costs me sooo much buying ink and drawing pens if I added writing into this too eeek! Perhaps there’s a middle ground? A pen crossover? I loved this your videos have such a cosy feel. What curating your life for peace is that a thing!!! ❤
Ah yes of course there's the whole other art side of pens and inks in the art world. My eyes go all sparkly just thinking about it. Have you got a glass dip pen for them? Oh, and I'll also say that crafting the day to day life with the intention of peace is not without it's many sacrifices but I do think it's a worthy pursuit. I'm not perfect at it though, the 'selfishness' shadow looms over me all the time. xx

I haven’t gotten into the fountain ink/pen world yet. Part of me wants to because it’s more economical but the cost and differences in sizes of stuff keeps me away.
Really enjoyed your ink and fountain pen collection. I have also fallen down the rabbit hole and thoroughly enjoying it. Writing is a very important part of my daily practice.
Omg the level of excitement I experienced when I saw this video posted 🫨😂. The whole aesthetic is just delicious. Of the two Peter Pauper Press journals you showed, I also have the blue one (though I use it as a dream journal…and use a ballpoint in it now because I did once doze off for a minute while writing in it and got a teeny little ink stain on my pillow sham which could have ended up much worse 😂) and have the one with the deer on my wish list. And pens!!! Ok I’m so glad I’m not the only one who splurged on a Sailor PGS and was totally underwhelmed by it-I ended up selling mine. I have a Pilot E95s which I really love and which I think is more what the experience of a gold nib SHOULD be, but I’m also not in a huge hurry to spend a lot of money on more gold nibs. And omg I have the exact same lavender-and-green Jinhao-it reminds me of lilac trees. I ended up putting a Goulet nib on it because I wanted a different size but that pen body is absolutely gorgeous for a $20 pen (and also a really good dupe for a pricey Laban pen I was coveting and now covet no longer 😆). I’m still 😏😏😏 at those Visconti Mythos pens too…maybe someday. And seriously what does one do with the stinky pen that comes with the 4oz Noodlers bottles??? 🤣 Ok sorry for the novel-length comment but I BEYOND enjoyed this video. 💖💖💖
Yes Pro Gear Slim that's what it's called!! Thank you! I will probably get around to moving it on, and in favor of something with a little more pizzaz like the E95 (Or Custom 823...uhhh droooolll so pretty!) Love the novel length comment, I definitely share the same excitement for writing implements. Ohh the dangers of writing in bed, agree that could have gone much worse. The Noodlers pens write so well and I love that you can fit an ocean of ink in them but that smell! I do super respect the owners hard stance on his methods though, there's no changing his mind about it. Gotta love it! xx

I love this niche-y video, thank you Theia😁🥰 I own a few fountain pens, had to step right away because my taste was going up the price range! I have Lamy, Plaisir & a Pilot pen & I believe 1 Sailor (maybe - it's an Amazon very cheap special & I can't remember now) & I have some Diamine sample inks & a couple of Lamy too. It is fun.

lovely fountain pen collection
I just got my first fountain pen recently and it's pretty cool. It has the replaceable cartridges. I love seeing your ink and pen collection! Puts my hands over my eyes and peeks through separated fingers, please don't get me into another collection. 🤣🤣🤣
Eee that's excellent! It really injects a spot of whimsy, personality and character to the journaling experience, even the list making experience. I do love making a ridiculously fancy looking grocery list. I've actually been called out on it by strangers at the store before. Also never fear, I think you've got a really good excuse with yourself to avoid the dangers of fountain pens, being primarily a digital journaler. Having one or two around for fun never hurts though. @@GardenGoddessTarot thank you so much, they are so cool. I love the way it writes. I can see definitely using them in my spell craft also. Honestly I have one that you dip into the ink (the tip that is) and it has a feather, but it truly doesn't work well. The new one I just purchased writes like a dream. It surprised me.
Now I want to dive headfirst back into the world of fountain pens and inks 🤣 telling myself to step awayyy!

Ooh yesss they used to go by 'Narwhal' and had the cool pen with the porthole in it, right? I'll have to keep an eye on the Voyage pens, travel themes always hook me in! xx

Loved this 💜 I am a fellow stationery addict! Inks bring me so much joy too. Am searching for a really rich, autumnal brown and overwhelmed by the choices out there. Do you have a recommendation?
Oooh, I really like J Herbin's 'Cafe des Iles', it's really on the warm side, but still brown and not orange. There's also Noodlers Pecan for a lighter and softer option. Noodlers Walnut is also a classic, good and deep, a little less warm that the others mentioned. xx
