  • PLO starting hand rankings, with a focus on deep stacked loose action full ring cash games. Raw all-in equity is not the main situation, since PLO is mostly a post-flop game. We need to look for hands that play well in whatever specific environment we find ourselves in. The most common for me by far are limped / single raised multi-way pots, where we need to look to nut up or shut up.

      Making it simple is a huge help. Big pairs, suited aces, very tight OOP pre-flop, on the button you can open up. Once you in there though, scared money don’t make money.

    Are you limping your entire range @ 100bb or just deep stacked? I appreciate the video . Watched it more than once

    So do you never see a set or tripes winning a pot?

      In a big multi-way pot, especially deep stacked, it will usually be a loser or at least a non-value bet if you get to the river with money behind. Live Full Ring PLO is a game of straights, flushes, and full houses.

    Is AAAA a fold?

      Yes! You're never improving your pair with that in your hand.

      What about AAAX

    • @InfiniteQuest86
      @InfiniteQuest86 Před 2 lety +1

      @@kevinfacts5200 I mean the tricky part going to PLO is remembering you can only use 2 of your cards. So you only have AA and you'll never get to use the 3rd A in your hand. AAAX is probably playable (but certainly not premium) though since you know there is only one other A in the deck, and likely no one has it. So you'll play post flop with this knowledge. Still it's hard to make a good hand with AAAX, and pretty easy for someone to have better.

      @kevinfacts5200 Před 2 lety

      @@InfiniteQuest86 suppose if the X is the same suit as one of your aces. There's a chance of it being good.

      @@kevinfacts5200 if one of your aces are suited with the ten. See the flop! I folded one like that preflop. Would have hit a nut flush!! Over 3000 dollar.pot!!!
