Wow, I have to say seeing Dwayne do Maui behind the scenes was just as fun as seeing him as Maui in the movie! I guess you never know how good of an actor/actress someone is until they voice an animated character lol. Although I did love the other movies he was in and when he wrestled too, he did an outstanding job as Maui and I honestly think he(Maui) was his best work yet!! Bravo!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Voicing an animated character is a test to true actors, and a difficult one, because they have to display emotion with voice only and in several tones because they never know what version of the line people will choose for the final version of the movie. Let’s not forget that most actors nowadays have no experience voicing animated characters before they get into that recording booth. It’s actually amazing.
