I love that we don’t need floodgates, hand traps, and other than evenly we don’t even need board breakers, while still running a truly control style without million turn combos. The fact we can ignore Maxx c, nibiru, honestly most hand traps is also huge in this format
The deck profile at the end of this video is probably the best version so far. You could argue that a 40 version that abuses more floodgates is stronger, but honestly I would argue that this version is stronger

Slowly being sold on the 60 card eldlich, out of curiosity, what if I didn't want to run Diabellstar, or rather what would you consider as an alternative if any exist.
Diabellstars’ main purpose is to get value while discarding things like rollback and elemental burst. If you think the Horus engine is enough to do that you could replace them with 6 more normal traps like ice dragon prison, needle ceiling, terrors of the overroot, ect. You could also replace them with counter traps like utopian aura (which you can get cheap in the galaxy eyes structure), solemn judgement, even try running the Eldlich counter trap at 1 copy. If you just want a different engine that also discards, you could replace it with the adventure package
Losing grass definitely hurts this version a lot, would probably need to be a 40 card version. I don’t play much TCG though so it would mostly be speculation on my end
