If you want to see other peoples camos, you need to disable the "download additional contend only in the hangar' option.

Playing on PC is so much easier than on consoles, especially in air rb or air Sim.
I don't think gaijin allows console players to migrate accounts to pc anymore though so you'd have to start a fresh account.

I'm having trouble downloading user skins, when I drag and drop or copy and paste the files in a user skin folder it won't ask me to replace the files and the skin won't show up in game, anybody know how to fix this?

i think being freaked out by an obsession of sexualized childlike cartoon depictions of minors or young women on planes is a perfectly valid mature adult response to have, i didnt even know this was a thing you could even do in war thunder, and i totally agree with historical skin bias on vehicles. I think they made the right call on making downloaded custom skins unviewable to others as i play war thunder around my family alot, and talk about the history of the vehicles and battles, and i think that would A) make me not play as much with the family as those are not appropriate images i want my family/ young kids to see and B) ruin some of the immersion of game and pull alot of the value out of it for me seeing everyone have anime or nonstandard skins, especially with world war 2 stuff i think some level of basic respect has to be taken with the subject
