Not sure why Dallas took him over someone like Ocyrus Torrence. I feel Jake Ferguson and Hendershot would have been just fine. 🤷🏻♂️
Finally someone else said it. The te’s we have are young studs, especially Jake Ferguson. Idk why they felt the need to use a high draft pick on a tight end.

I feel like we already have this in Ferguson and Hendershot. A tightend was only worth it if it was gonna be Mayer or Kincaid. Could've used that 2nd round elsewhere.
Should of got Torrence and beefed up that o-line, but whatever. This aint bad.
That's who I was hoping they would get, Bills snatched him right after Cowboys pick. ..I believe the trenches are the priority right after the QB...I guess they feel they can get a good quality guard in the 3rd or 4th.

I’ll be honest with ya. As a cowboys fan after drafting Taco I don’t trust not one Michigan player. And we just got two of them. I like our two young TE. If we didn’t get Kincaid I didn’t even want a TE. Should’ve went wideout so we can get rid of Gallap. Or even Oline I would’ve been fine with. But not a fan of this pick, even if he didn’t go to Michigan still wouldn’t have like this

Nothing that jumps out of screens but I think he’ll be a great safety net for dak he seems to just get open every play and he runs great short routes

His play speed also doesn't match his 40 time. He plays about 4.8 speed, not 4.6. Gets caught from behind by college LBs too often.

@@justinalley3399 We will see....... I think the receiver from last years draft from Baylor was projected fifth round and he went in the 2nd round to New England. Also don't forget they went with a wild pick in the first round with the guard as well.

So wrong there lol and yet he was still projected because analysts didn't like things in college compared to other top receivers that went in the draft. Clearly you don't read what draft analysts say on the strengths and weaknesses of each player.

He measurables don't match up with his on-the-field production. He should have much better YAC and Run Blocking. I catches the ball and goes down almost immediately. Kuntz has better tape, although its against lesser competition.
Early on in the video it's from years prior and towards the end as he gets stronger you see him get better after the catch

He’s a good player but nothing too crazy. Also I’ve learned to trust these rookies after the 2nd year now. We all saw how quickly Zeke stopped playing as good after getting paid.
Stop watching football. He got paid for what he did from years one through four. Running backs also have a NFL life of 4-6 years. He was literally good even his last year just shy of 1k. His body gave up on him which happens to everyone.

For being 6’6 250 he sure don’t play like it avoids contact doesn’t run over nobody gets trucked on tackles I see a TE3 at best def not somebody u want starting at TE .
He doesn’t seem to have ANY YAC ability. Doesn’t seem to have that dawg in em. But what’s most important thing is getting open and catching the ball. We’ll see 🤨🫣😅🤷🏾♂️
