please please take this safety tip even though the socket is switched off unplug it when not in use as a power surge can can cause a fire in a air fryer
Ah thank you! 👍

WOW !!! I did not know this... I am unplugging mine right now. Thank you kindly xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Are the electrics so bad in the UK you have to? Asking honestly as I don’t know and everyone there seems scared to death of it in general.
I had no idea, and I always read the safety instructions religiously!
My mother was quite proud of the Italian heritage she acquired through her father. She was a fantastic cook, who would make lasagna completely from scratch, noodles and all. When she got her terminal diagnosis, she did all she could to stock my father’s freezer with her homemade lasagna. I think my dad ate her final lasagna sometime between 6 months and a year after her passing.
I wonder what she would have thought of air fryers, and making lasagna in them. I think she would like it, if only for freeing up her stove to make even more food at the same time! 🥰
At the end of the day they're basically a small oven with a fan pushing the heat down to make things cook quicker, possibly similar idea to a fan assisted oven.
Such a lovely story. Thank you for sharing it!
That must have been a giant freezer
@@philyew3617, not really…he spread them out so they would last longer (like once every other month)

Hello it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
Oh 😋 that looks amazing! I never thought about using my airfryer to make lasagna 🍝
Looks really nice, one tip, when using tomato puree, you need to cook the tomato paste out first then add your tin tomato afterwards
That looks amazing hen👍🏆
I'm 72yrs I first got a Air Fryer just before lockdown now I have 2 and your so right about cleaning them "easy peasy" I love your videos and have followed a lot of your lovely recipes, being a wee Scottish woman living in Wales and can't always get my Scottish favorite like Scottish pies, tattie scones ect till I found your videos and now I make my own. Thank you so much fae me tae you 💞
I'm impressed! I don't know why I thought this wouldn't turn out very well. WOW, 25 minutes and you have a baked lasagna, gotta try this!
Good evening folks! Lovely to see you 🥰
What a wonderful lasagna recipe. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe and video with us 😊. I really appreciate your videos 🙏.
That lasagna looks absolutely delicious Cheryl, love how you made the cream cheese sauce.😋👍
Great and easy recipe.. Thank you. Nothing too difficult. I’ve just bought an air fryer and this is super.
I've only recently got an air fryer, but it's only a small one as I live on my own. Might have to try this, looks nice.
I have an air fryer and never knew it was possible to make a lasagna in it!! 👍🏼 I have to give this a try!
Hello there Cheryl, that looked delicious 😋 well done ❤thanks for the good recipe idea
Hello Cheryl, I am so amazed at how easy they are to clean!
Wonderful recipe. I just wished the part like yours came out like that in my air fryer. Guess I'll be using a baking dish and put it inside my air fryer.👍
I love that you make lasagna that way. That is the way I do. I noticed a lot of people in the UK use cheddar cheese and a bechamel sauce.
Looks absolutely banging been asking other CZcamsrs to do this for months then what’s for tea knocks it out the park ❤
It's so easy Kierran! ☺
@@WhatsForTea I’m making lasagna in oven tonight then going to try chicken fajitas in air fryer tommorow
Looks delish! Gonna make this! I love my air fryer ❤❤
I started watching because of your accent, and stayed for that lasagna
This looks so good, going on my menu for next week xxx
Looks absolutely delicious and lovely!
I’m old fashioned and the airfry intrigues me… he says sitting in the 30 degree heat smoking a pork loin over charcoal ;^)
My airfryer has a “Bake” mode. I would use that for a lasagne. I also use the bake mode to cook muffins, cupcakes, (4 at a time), small quiches, etc.
The only things I use my regular oven for is pizza, large roasts or stews, bread, or bulk cooking. For small families, couples, and singles, using the Bake mode is fast (preheat is quick), and less costly; and most things you bake in a regular oven can be made in the airfryer in bake mode. You just have to keep an eye on things, as it may take less time than the regular oven.
Think about your mini tart dishes, mini hand pie pans, and silicone cupcake singles. Even small casserole dishes can fit in an airfryer.
Looks delicious. I will definitely try this 😊
That looked AMAZING! Thank you for all your videos
Hey 👋 Julie it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
Just cooked this in my Lakeland air fryer. It was gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing. You just inspired my first shepherds pie in the airfryer!
Wow, great idea, this is now on my list to try
You did not disappoint, this is epic and defo on the list to do, thanks so much x
I love my air fryer never thought of doing lasagna in it looks great
Hey Louise,how are you doing?
Hi there you'll scratch your air fryer pan using metal utensils, like he look of your fryer very smart lasagne looked great well done 😌
Looks fab! I always put my lasagne into a dish, but it's oval so it awkward putting in dry pasta sheets,I just break them to fit, I Never thought to put lasagne directly into airfryer, which I'll try definitely, and the fresh pasta sheets too! Thanks
That looks great - I’ve been thinking about trying a cauliflower cheese in my airfryer x
Hey 👋👋👋,how are you doing?
Looks delicious 😋
I was quite dubious about lasagne, in my AF, however after this brilliant demonstration, I'm definately gonna give it a go. I am late to the game too he he! Looking forward to more demo's, as always love your food. Take care
Hello it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
My God, but that looks delicious...I need to invest in an air frier! ❤😋😋😋😋🤗
My basket in the air fryer has holes in the bottom and slits in the side . I can’t remove it as it forms part of the handle . I could try a cake liner I suppose. Lovely recipe Cheryl. Thank you. I’m going to also invest in a microwave combi oven as my oven takes 15 minutes to warm up.
Sounds like my air fryer, but mine has a slightly raised button on the handle that releases the basket from the bottom. The "button" doesn't look like much and I don't know why I even pushed it 😂 but that's how I found out that it releases.
You can still remove the basket, just close the drawer and fill the hole with screwed up foil, when done remove foil and open drawer
I find the chopped tomatoes from the same brand as your passata to be the best. Good for italian and indian dishes. The napolina is good for pizza sauce though 👍
Thank you for doing this helped me out furthering my ninja skills 😀
Looks so good!!
Oh yummy. TY.
Thx for the info. I didn't know if I could do lasagna in my air fryer
Hello it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
Right we are getting one, also late to the air fryer.😊
Happy New Air Fryer Cheryl. Great recipe, I've hadvea Ninja 9 in 1 as I use the pressure cook function too. Its been so successful, I've just recently got rid of my main oven. I now have a microwave combi oven, just in case I need it lol. That lasagne looks Boss. Thank you for sharing xxx
Looks 😋
Easy to dice the onions - the biggest problem arises when it comes to painting those little dots on them - 🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲!
😂😂😂
Good evening Cheryl been waiting for this xx
That looked wonderful! I can't remove the rack in my air fryer! I could probably line it with aluminum foil...I'm not sure!! Beautiful lasagna!!
I found the small pans made for toaster ovens fit in my air fryer. I can't do this lasagna without them because the basket is literally a basket, no solid side at all, lol
Lasgansa , hi Cheryl o my god , i love lasagna, and i brought a airfryer last Christmas, i am going to try this
Is this Italian? Lol It looks Delicious! I’ll want to try this since I got an air fryer and thought of lasagna.
Yummy!
Would it be possible to do in the air fryer baking paper too or is it better just inside the air fryer casket as you did?
Must. Try. This. YUM.
Not gonna lie.. this looks amazing 🤩
Good idea❤
MANY THANKS 🎉❤
Thank you looks delicious 🤩🤩🤩💖💖
“Bog standard mushrooms.” Oh, my, that cracked me up!
Use silicone utensils like fish slice and so on in the air fryer drawer. Otherwise you'll end up scratching the NASA surface coating 😁
No air fryer, and can't be trusted with a tray of lasagna, Cheryl, just here for the algorhyrhm. Was looking for you This Morning for that orange cake! 😋since I live vicariously through youz here 😅
I haven't got a chance to watch it yet Linda! But it sounds delicious ☺
@@WhatsForTea supposedly easy, too
@@LindaC616 hello, it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
How would you reheat the lasagna?
I really like using an air fryer
Hello it's my pleasure meeting you😊,where are you originally from?
Hi Cheryl,
I buy the wee shop bought lasagnes for two, or one if your hungry, it fits perfectly in my air fryer, as you were saying about burning the top…
You have to cook it at 145 degrees for 40mins or 160 degrees for 30mins. This way it cooks evenly and doesn’t burn the top.
FYI- with drawer out turn your air fryer upside down and you’ll see it’s just a element that the cookers had in the ‘70s with a metal fan.
Wow nice vlog Cheryl
Cool
Do you list the ingredients and quantities anywhere?
Good video but I must have missed the temperature..that's the important part.
Careful not to scratch the basket. I wipe it first, then wash with a sponge. You want to smell it after to make sure no soap remains.
well, that seems like a whole lot of work. Could I just buy a large frozen lasagna package and hack it into appropriately sized pieces with my mattock to chuck in there? /s
Cheryl... You are going to ruin the non-stick coating on the inside of your new air fryer by using metal serving utensils 😮😢😮😢😮😢
Silicone or plastic only darling x
That's so true! 😆💞
This lasagne (that doesn’t use any white/béchamel sauce) is called Godfather’s lasagne. You can find the recipe by goggling it. It’s the only one I can eat because it’s the one I’ve grown up with.
Try 500g beef and 200g Italian sausage meat, makes a big difference
Beautiful!
If your worried about cleaning ..line the tray with baking parchment…
My aim is to stop using the hob. I'd do the meat and onions in the air fryer also. You have to be careful (don't you) with putting foil in the fryer. if it isn't secured, then the foil could be lifted and pulled into the bladed of the fan.
All I saw was metal in non stick 😦😮😫
Will they send me a free air fryer?
Obvious you enjoy cooking!
The basket on my air fryer is round, so if I were to attempt this, I'd have to cut the noodles into the round shape. Pain in the neck.
Unusual but I guess if your in a hurry. Nothing beats my traditional oven really. Looks good. Great effort Cheryl ❤
Can you say ‘sausage turner’ in all your videos. ?
Oh Dear! 🙂 I suppose the next thing is an Instant Pot 🙂. Personally I have had an Air Fryer since they became available but it was quite small and I bought a bigger one in the last year. The thing is I have seen videos of Air Fryers and (another thing I have) Halogen Oven being used to cook things which are much better cooked in another way. I would have cooked this within a pan in the AirFryer for instance.
The Lasagne police will be after you for using the Ricotta mixture btw. It is age since I made a Lasagne, maybe its time. I have a bigger Air Fryer now but I wiill probably use my Mini-Oven. bg
You should fry your onions until they become transparent before adding your meat. The sweetness of the onions transforms the flavour of your pasta sauce.
19 mins I be out
