Amazing place, one of my To Do this summer. I will be there in July, is it really difficult to get to the cave? Is it safe? How much time do you have to explore before next tide? Great video, many thanks !!!
It is not difficult if you are used to a bit of scrambling and sure footed. Take walking poles. There were children doing it. Check the low tide times and arrive there an hour before low tide because you have to walk along the coast over boulders (not difficult) You will have plenty of time to explore. Take bright torches plus back up torches. Enjoy and let me know how you go on. Let's hope Nicola Sturgeon does not close the borders again with these new outbreaks!
Excellent video. I have tried to find this cave several times when out on the sea kayak. I'll have a better idea where to look now. Seems like an awesome place.
Hi, thanks, on the road there is a white cottage and a field gate opposite. If you walk across the field you will pick up the path down to the coast. Once there turn left around a couple of small headlands then you will recognise it from the video.
