    How did you tune it? Mufflers and the decat together, has to change the gas flow a good bit. If it changes it enough to feel a performance difference, then it changed it enough that it would need some fueling changes. The 12 minute tune really only makes minimal changes down low... It won't make any changes up top or when the throttle is open more than 20%.
    Looks amazing!

    • @BaffleHaus
      @BaffleHaus  Před 2 lety

      We didn’t tune the bike and tbh we probably didn’t quite get to twist her fully open either! For our riding it didn’t sound or feel like it needed the tuning but completely agree from a performance POV no doubt there’s more to get from this machine.

    For a DYI’er, you can crank the preload on the rear shocks. Then take only one off at a time and re-install one at a time, while on the side stand. Bike will minimally drop on the RH side, so do that first.

    She looks great, especially the cans! I love my Speed Twin too and started to change some parts with original Triumph spare parts since there are right now not so much custom parts of 3rd vendors out there, first I did change the tail tidy with a solution from an vendor from Australia especially made for the Speed twin, the indicators, and some cosmetics, as the black lamp house to one in ice grey, a Triumph spare part from the street twin cafe racer as well as the wind shield, also in ice grey from the street twin, LED front lamp, etc., next project will be a new pipe, I wanna do it step by step to collect ideas and think what would match to the bike without destroying its characteristics

      You know I've had a lot of bikes and this one though not top end fast is the most fun. Areally goodpowerto weight ratio and great handlinf especially with the Nitron setup. I had to get the heavier shocks cuz i weigh 250 lbs. haha I guess im just at the edge of being too big for this bike but I can always lose weight but a Harley is ugly forever!

    What gas-cap do you have on? - Is it the Motone? I know there's will fit, but there they warned me that there would be a weird ridge thing, which is exposed on the speed twin when you remove the stock cover. Is that what you can see 9.29 min in? - Love the build by the way :) Looks great

    • @BaffleHaus
      @BaffleHaus  Před 3 lety +1

      I just put a Crafton Atalier seat on my 2020 Speed Twin. Nice seat but the rear bracket/catch (seat lock) on the seat had to be adjusted forward a quarter inch (6mm); the front bracket is hardened Stainless, strong but I added a rubber pad so the seat would sit tight next to the gas tank.
      I didn't have the option of moving the seat forward because it was already rubbing the tank out of the box. Most accessories need some honing and fitment; I recommend the Crafton seat over Corbin, etc.
