Being in the kitchen hardly seems like work now, lol.
My grandparents placed eggshells into empty gallon of milk containers and filled the container with water, the smell was horrible but their flowers and vegetables were always in full bloom. They also used it in their compost. This was back in the 80's, God bless their souls; but as a woman +45 yrs old I use this method to water my plants. 🥲💕

Sodium chloride is not good for plants. Better not put salt while boiling.
