I remember a few years ago when this area was just empty lots and derelict warehouses. Just before they started building , there was a performance art exhibit for Art Basel that was a carnival complete with rides. I remember telling my companions on the ferris wheel what was going to be built here. Midtown Miami has become a real and diverse neighborhood!

I've been to Coral Gables ,Coconut Grove ,Brickell but I don't know Mid town!

It is called Midtown
I only left 7 years ago. I recognize nothing. I lived in Miami for 33 years and was in Midtown a million times. That area was an abandoned railway yard. It's quite nice but the adjoining neighborhoods immediately to the West are dodgy; not safe at night.
